Look at what Mickey just did with Royce. And as much attention and props that that's getting, people are still thinking about SL3 because of how 'personal' the shots were in comparison. Mickey said plenty of shyt directly straight at Royce, a lot of the same shyt Lupe did and styled the fukk out while doing it. What he didn't do was say I wish you died instead of this person lol.

And if that's how Lupe feel that's how he feel. I'm saying the only way to respond to that is to take it further. nikkas forget we made it all the way up to Nas building a life size Jay Z robot to lynch on stage.

I guess he thinks that line is just battle rap shyt? To him, it's just words in the spirit of competition, even if it comes from genuine conflict. But I agree, it can only get uglier. Standard 'battle rap shyt' is the generic, URL type "shoot a hole in your son while he's holding your sun chips" gun bars. Lupe replied to that with a death wish. Now it seems to be a debate in here as to whether Royce was being literal or not and that laying grounds for wishing death on someone, which is asinine IMO. Lupe said that Royce had been trying to bully him for a while now (same way he was acting with Mickey) and he just never really responded that much to it. I feel like that tension went unaddressed and boiled over.

Yes, lines get crossed in battles all the time. And also yes, Lupe said he felt bullied and kept letting it slide, seems logical that played a part in how he replied once he let his true feelings about Royce be known.

And who said stop the battle? Not me...in fact I'm saying that the ONLY way to respond "I wish you were dead instead of x" is to up the ante and say something worse than that, rinse and repeat. If Royce doesn't wanna go there and doesn't respond at all, he'll just have to hold his uncontested L in shame. I'm a fan, but fukk him for that.
