I missed most of the IG live today, but the gist I got echoed what we already know: Royce came to play and Lupe came to win. Someone brought up that Daylyt would smoke everyone and he admitted he would rather lose, so he can learn from the experience and continue developing his craft. He’s still studying other rappers right now, Dinosaurs was Homeboy Sandman-inspired. Confirmed there won’t be an SLR 4 anytime soon, no matter what happens next, he’s done. Unsurprised by Wraith, more like what he expected Mickey to do based on his work in SOSA. No feelings whatsoever toward Royce, so it’s not a Cudi situation, just can’t fukk with him anymore after all this nonsense. Lupe didn’t think anything in his diss song was “too personal”, but he may just be desensitized. Most of what he mentioned is public knowledge, it’s not like he went after his family history of substance abuse or other real low blows like that.
