I don't disagree with what you're saying.. I think there's a beauty in the simplicity of most diss tracks. No matter the rapper, they tend to slow it down, make it precise, and clearly hit their target. Even a lyrical miracle rapper usually slows it up on a diss and starts hitting you with blows.
Em on that rappity rap rap shyt on a diss wasn't hitting. It's not memorable. Nobody is reciting those bars. Nobody remembers them. They remember he rapped his ass off. You can remember multi layered deep references and shyt.. But what's actually remembered is MGK's bars cause he slowed it down, talked direct, and hit him with shyt that sticks in your brain
Pilled up Em did that and bodied everyone he went against.. Ever since he switched up to Super Rap, he lost that. That Em is gone.
