Dudes acting like Big's two albums didn't change the game. Lupe never dropped no genre defining LP's as of yet. "Food and Liquor" was Classic to me but it's not even consensus and it's been 5 years. "The Cool" was uneven but solid, I give it about 4 MICS. "Lasers" was weed plate and his lyrics couldn't save it. F&LII I'm still listening too. So Yes he has a soild catalog but Top 10? I like Lupe but this is getting ridiculous. He's not Top 10. He's standing out in one of the weakest era's in Hip Hop History.

IMO Lupe's at his best when he drops storytelling type tracks/albums. However lyrical his most recent drops can be and stacked with double entendre and metaphors and what not, at some points it sounds forced and I can't fukk with this political/activist shyt.

That's why The Cool shyts all over F&L II to me

Lupe is top 10 currently and has a top 5 album this year..But this era is so watered down it's almost like being the tallest midget...
