Everything your favorite rapper does, Lupe does it better except three things... If your favorite rapper is naS then Lupe does not storytell better. If your favorite rapper is Pac then Lupe doesnt do a heartfelt track better. If your favorite rapper is Twista then Lupe doesnt have a better flow...
Other than that, niccaz just dont have an argument.
My argument would be his be lack of impact and resonance within the larger Hip Hop culture. That might change over time, but right now I couldnt see putting him ahead of Pharoahe Monch or GFK or Snoop or Q-Tip.
Now if yall wanna call him a top 10 lyricist thats another discussion.
