How many years does Kyrie have on his deal cause I swore I saw he only had this year and a player option for next year. Could Kyrie possibly leave Dallas in the off-season?
He's great but you traded for a top 5 talent who is about to turn 26. That is why the reaction is the way it is.
That lady owner better hope she never shows up at the arena, the Mavs fanbase is about to watch Luka's best years in a Lakers jersey out of all the places, we might get a Dallas Luigi out of this, this is that type of crazy trade!

Yeah, I know originally the jazz were asking for Knecht and 2 1st, but now the Lakers could be inclined to throw Rui or Reaves in now.I'd jump on thi8s immediately if I was the Lakers. But I'd try to send Reaves to N.O. for Zion. And then send Knecht and a 1st and someone else for Kessler/Sexton.
Yeah it's gonna be torture for that fanbase. Luka's trajectory is top 10 player of all time maybe even higher if he wins more than a few rings. Seeing your team trade a guy like that who's only 25 is mind boggling.
It's not even about AD, it's just how great Luka is and his potential still. It could have been anybody AD's age, the reaction would be similar.Exactly just look at all the great talent under 25 , Mavs could have easily got one of those players plus a load of draft picks.
So yeah, Dallas is taking a big fukkin' risk with this move that can blow up big time.Player option next year for 43 mill
So technically he could opt out after this year and be a fa
Tim McMahon on ESPN basically saying the mavs were sick of Luka being fat, out of shape, and hurt all the time, and they wasn't trying to pay him that supermax after this season.
Said he had gotten up to 260 this season![]()
Unless implicit in the trade is no returns even after the medical.Even if that is the case, it's stupidly shortsighted to just get AD back in a trade for a 25 year old that lead a team to the NBA Finals last year. You gotta try to get the biggest haul possible, not just an All NBA guy in his 30s that doesn't guarantee you a damn thing in the playoffs![]()
Yup. Completely agree with this. I don't see this as a great thing for LeBron, just the Lakers.
