Nikkas mad at Luda for being himself but would call him a fraud if he pretended to be a drug dealer or sum shyt for his rap image.

Man was literally talking about shooting people in his raps, shut the fukk up.

Ludacris made fun music. That's where the "whole it didn't age well" argument comes from because The Booth is dismissive of that kind of music. Can't say it ain't this board will completely dismiss an artist or song just because it's light hearted in nature.

Then there's the bias. Busta and Luda essentially made the same kind of music, but you got people that wanna place Busta in the category of Nas and Jay. Busta was never viewed as an elite lyricist. He was a dope MC who made fun music no different than Luda.

Then I see someone say Luda was a poor man's Redman. Keeping it 100, Luda had more flows and was more versatile than Redman. Breh could give you a double time flow, slow it down, or whatever. He could hang with Nas on a track and then go and kill a R&B track.

FACT: How many rappers can say they had a song featuring Nas and Jay on the same track on their album?

all facts!

Luda was dope during his run.

Had a really good ear for production on his first few albums, and made a lot of classic tracks. He always just did his own thing and seemed like he wanted to have fun with it. That's literally what Hip Hop is all about. He worked with straight legendary MC's and some of the game's best producers. The GOAT's. I don’t think his sh*t aged horribly, at all. Because he never followed a particular sound that was prevalent at the time. His music always sounded like some other sh*t. He wasn't a follower, so I can still play his sh*t and not really associate it with an era. He was one of the few southern-based artists who didn't let that box him into a particular sound.
I feel like every time people talk about something has "aged terribly", they don't actually know what aging terribly is. To me, there's a LOT of pop music that has aged terribly. In rap, that style that Young Money beat to death from 2009-2013 aged terribly, where they would make a comparison then laugh at the end like "hee hee hee get it?"
