Ludacris made fun music. That's where the "whole it didn't age well" argument comes from because The Booth is dismissive of that kind of music. Can't say it ain't this board will completely dismiss an artist or song just because it's light hearted in nature.

Then there's the bias. Busta and Luda essentially made the same kind of music, but you got people that wanna place Busta in the category of Nas and Jay. Busta was never viewed as an elite lyricist. He was a dope MC who made fun music no different than Luda.

Then I see someone say Luda was a poor man's Redman. Keeping it 100, Luda had more flows and was more versatile than Redman. Breh could give you a double time flow, slow it down, or whatever. He could hang with Nas on a track and then go and kill a R&B track.

FACT: How many rappers can say they had a song featuring Nas and Jay on the same track on their album?

This shyt so cringy

:dahell: you young nikkas don't even know what good music sounds like given the filth your ears have become accustomed to in this era.

That shyt was dope. And Luda's music is timeless. This thread makes no damn sense. All the tracks OP mentioned are still fire to this day.

Yall buggin.

Oh nah, I have no problem with him.. He should be celebrated more because he loves rapping and want people to put him up there with the spitters. I just couldn’t get into a lot of his music. I have no problem with him otherwise
