Exactly. Miami didn't officially become a city until 1896, 31 years after the civil war.


Palm Beach has some historically Black areas as well. Tamarind Ave corridor(watch out tho) Frog Alley in Delray Beach, Pearl City in Boca, The Mangonia Estates area in West Palm, Pinewood(West Palm) Osborne District in Lake Worth just to name a few.

Went to Tamarind Avenue before. Place felt kind of hood to me.

Moved back to South FL towards the end of last year. Loving Palm Beach. Got everything I need. Went to Miami and damn the traffic is way worse four years later. Super expensive. Checked out Brickell Centre. It was in construction before I left. People getting raped with the price of them condos.


Only been there twice since I moved back. I don't miss that shyt. All I got is memories of the Miami booty bass Uncle Luke days.
