Religion has held us back for too long. Its ok to believe in a higher power but we let it get in the way of making real moves. Espousing dustiness as a virtue.
Idk how religion has held us back when the people in charge of our countries don’t believe in God, or any god. Imo MONEY and WEAPONS has held us as a species back far more than any religion.

best times huh I guess those mass shootings that are breaking records are the best times right paying for housing the best times right? people are on edge all the time ...No retirement no pensions for the future is the best times right like Jesus said they take no note keep your head in the sand.... There are protests worldwide about the the mistreatment people are getting stay lost judgement day is fast approaching.Ain’t shyt happening.

People been killing. 100 years ago we were locked into a whole world war.
100 years ago things like retirement and pension and any types of worker’s rights were not a thing.
I know I'm wild late with the response as a Christian marsupial, but I'm not surprised by such revelations. Churches are not what they seem and no matter where you go, it is still a business. Hell, the church I used to go to made it blatant that they were a business. Then you have the corruption, the molestation issues, drugs and infidelity (a few churches I have been in had such problems), and power structure along with ego trips. It sucks because most of us desire a word or two. We strive on understanding the meaning to all of this, madness, in life. The only thing I can truly say is let the church be within you.
I do my due diligence outside the church for free 99. Shoot, I spit game on The Coli because it's my calling from bringing joy, providing testimony, and even just giving spiritual advice.
As the church becomes a slump and a declining pool of moral, just remember that God is still in control. Once you get the religious aspect out of the spiritual realm along with MAN'S dictation...you will see that God is trying to do a new thing.
Only the real spiritual heads know of such new-found steps. Until then, It's going to get worse, but God's word will always reign supreme.
