The scientific data says otherwise. Studies have shown there is no added muscle building benefit to doing 3 full-body workout sessions a week over 2.

Most of the "fitness experts" you speak of that do otherwise use steriods. That enhances recovery which is why they can weight train for 5-6 days a week. For us natural lifters, recovery is paramount. And it takes muscles up to 72 hours to fully recover after an intense workout. That is why 2 full-body sessions per week is sufficient.
Link the studies.

You can do a push pull legs split and still hit every body part twice a week.

Plus if you go to the gym only two times a week, that's 5 days where you aren't getting any exercise in.

Blood flow helps to increase muscle growth.

I'd rather be in the gym 6 days a week than two.

Even when you do just legs, you still work your central nervous system heavily. That's why I do full body. It allows the body to recover as one. If you work out with sufficient intensity, I promise you won't be missing the gym that much. Yoh will be so beat up that 2-3 days of recovery will be neccesary.

With regard to what I do on rest days, I do cardio. But not running or anything to intense. I just do lots of walking. Very low intensity but helps with fat loss and recovery.

When a guy goes to the gym 5-6 times a week, all that signals to me is they either don't work out hard enough or they use PEDs. A natural lifter to trains hard doesn't need more than 3 days per week at the gym. With 2 days being sufficient if you want to maximize recovery.

lol I work harder than anyone in the gym EVERY DAY.

Once your body gets used to busting your azz, going to failure it becomes normal.

i don't even get sore no matter what I do.. and if I do it's for less than a day.

No fitness expert, personal trainer or body builder will tell you that lifting weights only twice a week is the best way to maximize muscle hypertrophy..

Whenever somebody is on here and talks fitness, that dude starts spewing pure nonsense that anybody who actually gets busy will tell you ain't true.
Sound like one of them lil ass youtubers who make videos with a bunch of "papers".
