Jesus Christ...That's Mount Doom :ohhh:

I mean, we already knew that "The Southlands" are Mordor, right ? So of course Mt Doom is there.

ain't no way in hell galadriel or brehlf wouldn't have checked under the cloth. that is incredibly lazy writing and an insult to the audience's intelligence. completely ruined an otherwise incredible episode. they should've written it to where they opened it after catching evil elf and he laughs at them when they realized that he was a decoy. then go to scene where the traitor human has it and unlocks the volcano. terrible terrible writing.

:ohhh:

But they make it seem like Arondir and the white lady never had a sexual relationship

I feel like the tension is there, but Arondir especially keeps it under wraps considering the Elven contingent's whole purpose for being there is to keep an eye on the men who fought alongside Morgoth the last go around. Him cavorting with one of said people wouldn't go down well with the other elves.

That would of been very cliche. A great part of about the last episode was the unexpected twists and turn…..one being the ending where everyone thought they were in the clear and celebrating.

cliche sure but much more realistic. it is not in the fathomable realm of possibility that you recover such an important item from your enemy and you don't open it to check it out if not immediately, then as soon as ya'll get back to base camp; that's a complete spit into the eye/intelligence of the viewer. that actually would've been an even better way to write it --> they get back to the town w/ everyone celebrating and in the midst of interrogating him they open it in their anger and realize what he did --> now cut to old dude with the actual sword opening up the volcano.

so adar says he killed sauron

when halbrand meets adar it seems halbrand got major beef with him but never says why

mount doom gets activated at the same time that halbrand is crowned king of the southlands, which we know eventually becomes mordor

I like this official explanation of the orcs being corrupted versions of the elves, and that the older the elves who fell to morgoths grasp, the more elf like they stayed. UrukSet we in here :wow:

Did you catch Adar's blood being black like the other uruks? That was a cool detail. It's different than when Legolas bleeds.
