they are too multi-generational to claim any one individual race, thus the reason they use nationality. I know this because it was explained to me by brazilians while I was there. I do less 'know it all' when I'm abroad and more learning about the history of said peoples....
Blacks are admixture too, though. That logic doesn't hold up. To be Black anywhere outside of Africa is to be multi-generationally mixed.
You seem to have this fairytale that every Afro-Latino is light skin, straight hair, green eyes, etc...
Sure that exist, but so do Creoles and Yellowbones.
