I used to have my own business, computer repair, but that was probably around seven years ago (I was a teenager), but I sold that (made some coin but I spent that easy). I went to a couple of schools but didn't finish, and since then it's been minimum wage bullshyt ever since. The last job I worked was at a Kroger but I just walked out on that shyt.

Well, if you're good with comptuers you could try getting your A+ certification and applying for helpdesk/tech support jobs. I'm sure you could at least get a job at Comcast/AT&T/etc. in the tech support dept. They're not much fun but usually start at at least 12/hr.

You blew your savings on alcohol and you missed interviews due to hangovers so you should probably try to cut down on drinking before anything.

Ask your dad if you can stay with him for a little longer, at least until you get a job. You gotta keep applying and stop missing interviews.

Getting back in school isn't that simple, but if you're close to finishing then I'd suggest trying to get back in.

Most importantly, you need to keep trying to make moves. That's the only way you'll catch a break.

Your resume must be :trash:

Look into a professional resume writer. My shyt is looking real good right about now.. Corresponded with a resume specialist from my school through email recently , had a phone interview today.. while I was at my current job. :smugdraper: Fix that resume up nicely , or look into paying those old loans off and going back to school.

how long does that take

:aicmon:

No particular length of time.

CompTIA A+ Certification

It's just two tests (100 questions each) that you have to take and pass. Once you pass the test you can put on your resume that you're an A+ certified computer repair technician and it'll help you get entry level IT jobs.

You can take the tests whenever you want. Basically you sign up for it online (or at, say, a community college). But the tests cost like $170 to take, and if you fail than that's money wasted. So you don't really want to take them if you won't pass.

Look online, there are all kinds of A+ study guides.
