If the defense feels that they can't win the case, they would put George on the stand as a last resort. If he claimed Stand your ground, he would be required to testify. Since he chose to claim only self defense, he isn't required to testify.

damn that sucks for the prosecution...thx for the info breh

The doctor on the stand wrote a book essentially blaming victims of fatal
police brutality for their own deaths.

"During a routine investigation, a suspect turns hostile. The officers on
the scene spring into action and get the suspect under control by
handcuffing him. Though the suspect has been successfully subdued - he dies
shortly thereafter."
"Criminal and civil cases often cite "positional asphyxia" as the cause of
death in such instances, blaming the rough treatment individuals may have
received during restraint. The authors of Excited Delirium Syndrome: Cause
of Death and Prevention, however, propose a different explanation. In this
groundbreaking book, they cite the reason being a condition called Excited
Delirium Syndrome, in which the normal physiological changes produced by
violent activity culminate in sudden cardiac death, often in conjunction
with the effects of a drug."

So essentially, that "sprinkle some crack on him" joint was in regards to this guy.

The only indication that Travon was gonna "kill" Zimmerman is Zimmerman's account where Trayvon allegedly says "you're gonna die tonight, muthafukka" lol. Throw away that line and what have you got? Ain't no way Trayvon just goes around beating people to death is there? But a guy carrying a gun is a guy ready and willing to shoot, especially in a potential hostile situation that Zimmerman created.

According to some people, you should be able to provoke others with no consequence and if you feel like you're losing a fight, the other person deserves to die and you should be able to kill them.

If Trayvon was on top of him and the shot was inches away, wouldn't Zimmerman have Trayvon's blood on him?

Zimmerman did have some of TM blood on him, the question nobody has answered is why didn't Trayvon have any of Zimmerman's blood on his hands or sleeves (with all that alleged punching, smothering, & bashing of his head) :childplease:

I take what these "legal experts" say with a grain of salt. Nobody knows what the jury is thinking, they aren't even supposed to be discussing the case amongst themselves at this point.

Can't just show a video and not have anyone be able to question it. And y'all are actin' like the forensics guy actually sat there and made the video himself. Which we of course know didn't happen and some little tech intern probably did. Does that mean only the tech person who actually made it should be questioned, not the forensics guy?

Brehs the prosecution has been :troll: with their ineptness. I understand why these prosecutors go into public service instead of private law. Their degrees aren't worth the paper it's printed on. Half the board could present better arguments. :snoop:

they gave two answers. One was that the body laid out in the rain for several hours. The second has something to do with plastic bags vs paper bags in preserving evidence that I didn't catch all of.
