I have a 5th grader and a 7th grader. Couple years ago when they did their lock down drill my youngest when I picked them up, tells me, "daddy we had our lockdown drill and i found the best hiding place behind the teacher desk. The bad person would never find me."

Now it seems almost monthly you hear about some shyt like this.
People want gun laws, and there should be gun laws. But some uncomfortable conversations will need to start happening about discipline at home or even mental institutions again. It seems the more kumbaya America tries to get, the more violent it gets.

plus a 49er/NFL player just got shot in broad day light in the most liberal city in America in a busy area, over the weekend(San Francisco).. a place with strong gun laws.

Do you not know that the GOP has voted down almost every common sense gun control legislation to prevent these mass shootings? You bring up California but their current gun laws put them #1 safety in the country which has saved tens of thousands of lives. That doesn't mean you can't get shot in the state by a robber
