Haven't been paying much attention to the news regarding #2 and #3, but my crazy prediction for the draft: QB's aren't taken 1-3.

I think MHJ goes top 3, possibly to a team trading up.

I can completely see a top 4 going:
1. Caleb
2. Daniels|MHJ
3. MHJ|Daniels
4. Nabers
Me too. I hope Maye drops to 6, the Giants need to wake up, Daniel Jones isn't it.

I would be shocked if 3 QBs didnt go in the top 4

Sheeit, there's a good chance Giants will try to trade up to get Maye instead. He's the QB they want.

If Maye drops to 6, Giants draft room might have tears in their eyes because they won't have to give anything up for him.

How real is this Commanders looking at JJ McCarthy thing? Is it a trading back situation? They're not trading with the Giants, for sure.

@CHICAGO it's Draft week, boss man. Sticky this when you can please. Eager to see how the Bears shake out especially.

Very real for JJ

I wish JJ had thrown more because the Bears would take him if he did.

I don't think Drake Maye is it either. If he drops and the Vikings want him I'm making that trade.

Giants don't have anything right now so taking a QB and playing him when he needs to sit could be a disaster.

Let Jones play the year out and let him go. Maye can sit all this season.

OK, I think Troy Fautanu is my favorite pick for the Chargers. If the Chargers trade down and pick this guy up I'll be a happy man draft night. Maybe make the extra trade up for Latu on top of it.

Again, one of my favorite reasons is the guy can potentially play 5 positions as a starter.
That's 5 chances to land a starting spot on a roster = 5 chances not to be a wasted first round pick (more if you count depth).
This guy is probably the most bust proof player this year.
Plus he's built like Rashawn Slater but with longer arms and studies his game.

Round 1 Favorite

  • Washington OL Troy Fautanu
    • Size: 6’4” 317 pounds
    • Stats: 30 career starts split across LT (28) and LG (two)
    • Age: Turns 24 years old on October 11th
    • Top traits:
      • Twitch/explosiveness
      • Length/build
    • Reasons for concern:
      • Questions about best long-term position
      • Charged up, frenetic pace
    • Sales pitch: Fautanu is one of my four highest-graded linemen in the draft due to an outstanding blend of movement skills, power, length and some of the best hands in the draft. I could easily envision him as an Ali Marpet-caliber guard in the NFL, but his skill-set is special enough to make a case as a building block at any of the five positions.
    • Grade: 1st
    • 16 play snapshot:

Favorite round three grades

  • Kansas OL Dominick Puni
    • Size: 6’5” 313 pounds
    • Stats: 41 career starts split across LT (25), LG (13) and right tackle (three)
    • Age: Turned 24 years old on February 24th
    • Top traits:
      • Square power and body control
      • Calm, collected footwork
    • Reasons for concern:
      • Played in a run-heavy, RPO based system with minimal true drop-back concepts
    • Sales pitch: Puni’s wide-bodied, thick frame/build and jarring power jump out as soon as you turn on the film, but what made me sit up in my chair was his ability to stay attached, in control and sustain blocks through shed attempts. Add in very good movement skills that allow him to intersect and erase targets on the move and you quickly run out of reasons why he can’t be an early starter at guard or center.
    • Grade: Top of the 3rd
    • 17 play snapshot:

Xavier Leggette because him taking so long to breakout looks fishy .

Chop or any other undersized speed rusher because with Aiden and Houston they need an edge that can stop the run at least a little bit .

But if Holmes do draft them I can’t be mad because he’s shown he knows what hes doing
I don't watch college bball much anymore and I definitely ain't scoring no damn film, but what little I seen of Legett I really like. That's the kind of wr that's missing in the Lions receiver room, big, attacks the ball, fights for 50/50 balls. But as I said, I don't watch enough to have a strong opinion. I just trust Holmes and crew to be on they villain shyt and get us some studs.

Top 4 will be QBs

Arizona trading out for a second straight year would be all time dumb. They have to take MHJ.

They missed out on Will Anderson who went on to win DROY. Yeah, they needed O-line help but that's a situation where you take the best player available and address O-line later.

That’s why they will trade to 6 or 9 and take Best Receiver and Best Lineman available

Digging so much into offensive line this draft, it's hilarious knowing learning Justin Herbert and Penei Sewell were on the same team for two years back in Oregon. Penei only allowed a single sack those two years.

That coach really couldn't do anything with those two on the same team.

That said, the worst pick for the Chargers at #5 are Joe Alt or Bowers straight up with no trade down.
