Also, people are really pigeon hole guys in ways that don’t apply. They see Michigan QB and think ‘game manager carried by an elite defense’. Or think of game managers from past elite teams. Well AJ Mccaron went round 5, Greg McElroy went round 7. Ken Dorsey went round 7. Colt McCoy went round 3. So as bad as these scouts and GMs can be, they not THAT stupid. If JJ was one of those dudes, he would not accidentally fumble his way to the top of multiple teams’ draft board. He is clearly not one of those guys

Which year? If last year, Mack Brown didn't do him any favors with his coaching hires and they didn't do shyt to replace Josh Downs production. And before anyone say it, you can miss me with bringing up Tez Walker. If you want to see what he could be, look at the years he had Phil Longo as his OC.

I told you Ladd wasn't moving up the draft boards. Second round is right where he should be.

He can be a solid top 15-20 NFL QB if things go right for him .

He doesn't have the arm ability that Goff has.

At least he hasn't show it to me, Goff can put a DOT on a DOT if you need to.

I'll never forget him going blow 4 blow with Mahomes, he's a made man in my eyes (without the ring)

I don't believe so. If he was eligible the 2022 season, I liked him more than Bryce and his numbers were (iirc) on par/close to Caleb's, and he won the Heisman that season. Again, the UNC 2023 coaching staff was ass. If you're talking about the UVA game, they called that game as if they had it under control and the UNC D was getting Swiss cheesed up on the ground. He had decent # for someone who only had the ball 22 minutes.

I think he'll gel w/ Van Pelt. He's shown he will tailor his offense to the QB he has under center.

If you need all those variables, you ain’t a #3 pick. Am i drafting Drake Maye or should I hire Phil longo?

Also while we don’t have access to all 22 or every throw, we can at least listen to what those who do say. Maye hasnt even been hyped all offseason. And I’ve heard at least one scout/analyst go to bat for all the other 5 QBs even Nix. I have heard nothing on Maye. That tells me his tape ain’t showing nothing special. He missed wide open recievers which is always a major red flag. You only hear that when it’s a problem, bc it’s not supposed to happen
