show's been good but I wish miniseries would jump right into the meat of the story...

Facts... this shyt had me on at first. It has gotten really good now, but the earlier episodes were ass. I think because there are so many storylines going on, it took forever to fully set all of them up.

Up to episode 5 and unsure on how I feel about this show. And damn near all of the problems in this show would be resolved if Reese and Kerry switched daughters. Also Kerry's faces annoy me.

FACTS!

I thought I was the only one who was absolutely irritated by this. She also makes this weird guttural voice in addition to the ugly lip quivering. It comes off so forced.

The chick who plays her daughter was acting CIRCLES around her in the latest episode.

Story completely falls apart in the finale.

In the book, it's Izzy who sets the fire and runs away to Pittsburgh, where Mia's parents live. Of course, she's the most obvious suspect in both the book and show. Lexie, Moody, and Trip make the least sense. Izzie is the personality-type that would burn her own belongings, along with the whole house. Not the other 3 kids. The whole screaming match between Lexie and Elena was ridiculous.

Mia got off easy too. If anything Pearl finding out Elena was using her should've driven her to want to go to New York more, not reconcile with Mia.

Nah Izzy checked Moody on his BS too. Moody is one of those "nice guys" in training. And Bill checked Izzy on her petulant childish behavior ,and her "woe is me" routine. She did need to grow the fukk up.
