This brings me back to the SOHH days - shyt I'm from NJ, grew up on a certain type of hip hop and yall put me on to the GOATness of LB...listening to these grown man bars as a grown man...they ain't lost a step, just kept sharpening their pens and :wow::mjcry:

This what makes it special... to be there from the beginning back in 02 fresh outta high school listening to these bars and grasping what they kicking on some everyday everyman bars to it being 15 yrs later they still kicking the grown man bars and now I'm living exactly what they spitting bout it brings it full circle

Man really digging this.

It's nostalgia, but fresh. Hope they maintain this momentum for the rest of 2019, Little Brother finally getting their just due would be amazing.

They gonna see the impact when they tour this fall. Everyone is overtly excited/satisfied with this album.

Joe Scudda. LB features him on their only major label video, he was on The Shield on FX. Had a lane. But just never dropped an album. Ironically his worst verse was the one on the LB single, Lovin’ It. Dude had some good songs though.

Damn this shyt take me back, especially that Scars joint. That's college and fresh out of college when I was HEAVY into all the Justus League shyt. My 10 disc changer was pretty much all Justus League shyt for a minute. Paper Gods, Justus for all, Thryd day album, NC State of Mind 1 and 2, The Wonder bread series. I feel like Median should have had a bigger underground presence than he did. After Phonte he was the one who's verses and songs I thought were the dopest. Visionary, How deep is your world and a few others were really dope songs. If he dropped something now I'd still check for it.

Yes!

Dude Leg was ahead of his time. Maybe. Maybe someone was doing hashtag rap before him, but not many.

I mean who the hell was picking 9th beats like this in 2001, titling them after the date of Jim Morrison's death, and rapping like this?! He was a true artist. Also he and 9th probably did a good 120 some joints together.

Drugs, rehab, and court, like Bob Downey...She taught me a life lesson. Stabbed in the back. She taught me a knife lesson. I still got the scars...:wow:
Dude says "Crocdile Dundee. The shyt he's waving, now that's a knife!" Then proceeds to pull out an actual knife on stage. :heh:

He was just an overall character. Never met another human like him. He even dissed Chaundon and Away Team and made apology tracks. he was almost kicked out of the League multiple times. Dude used the budget for his first single to use special effects to cut his wrists in a bathtub and hung himself in a way I still don't know how they pulled off. It looks real.. :dead:

Holdin' a spark then I fell like Owen Hart. A long drop. Doin' nothing non-stop. :damn:

I had thategsclusives album. He had some clever bars but I just couldn't fukk with his absolutely non existent flow. He had some crazy beats from 9th though on the I think it was 2 albums I had. Lol probably some shyt I got from you back in the day.

Damn good album. On first listen I kinda feel like the skits went overboard, and some of the beats were just ok...but overall this shyt is dope. Will keep delving in over the week and weekend for more concrete thoughts. Just feels good hearing them rapping together man...start of the album took me back to when I first ran across The Listening on okayplayer.

I'm gonna give this another spin or two but The Plugs I Met and Bandana are easily superior.

It's cool but nothing really blew me away. Really could do without the skits. All the songs kind of have the same vibe. A little too much singing for me. I don't know if this is going to have enough replay value
