Why can't Black people be racist? I never understood this.
Can Mexicans be racist to be Black people?
Can Asians be racist to Black people in America?
Is it impossible for minorities to be racist?
That just seems silly.
Yes, yes and no. I've witnessed every one of these "you need power to be racist" ideologists claim that other ethnic minorities are racist towards blacks i really need these nikkaz to explain which one is it.
Nobody truly believes only white people can be racist :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

“To me, a racist is someone who treats a different race than theirs a different way than they would treat theirs,” he explained. “I feel like if you’re a Black person and you treat all Black people one way and all white people one way, you’re racist. I’m not a racist, so I give a white person a chance to talk and actually we get into it before I can say I don’t like you or not. And I feel the same way about a Black person. You ain’t gon’ be my buddy just ’cause you’re Black. Just straight up.”

Whats wrong with what he said?

Racist isn't the right word. Self hatin c00n is more like it imo

He technically used the wrong term “racist”, by definition and systematically, black people cant be racist in America. He probably should of used “prejudice”, but y’all know what the fukk he talking about.

This actually reflects todays rap fans than it does with him.

And let's be real. Lil baby isnt known for being intelligent or making intellectual music. I've never ever heard anybody even fans of his say anything about him being smart or being known for his intelligence. Yall really shocked that lil baby is as dumb as his music?

Man, what amazes me is the level of ignorance, fakeness and anti intellectualism that's so present these days. What's even more frightening is knowing that theres people who seem to know better but chose to dumb it down as if the powers dont want that. They do. They think you're dumb because they see what people are paying attention to. More people want to be entertained, lied to, lying to themselves, are content with being ignorant and dumb and etc as long as they're comfortable than the opposite.

Because personal bias isn't what racism is.

Anti-Blackness exists on a systemic level, and on a global scale.

Every White person you met could be the nicest person in the world to you and you would still experience the pernicious effects of anti-Black racism.
It exists in our algorithms for policing, and crime watch, it exists in the geography of cities and zoning regulations, it exists in lending practices and banking credit allocations, it exists in our school funding and even the standardized testing prompts.

It isn't just how you're "treated."

He never said all that. All he said was I judge people by who they are not by race.
Prejudice differs from racism.
Why can't Black people be racist? I never understood this.

Is it impossible for minorities to be racist? That just seems silly.
Anti-Black racism is systemic worldwide, including here int he US.

Mexicans subjugate African-descended peoples in their own country (Afro-Latino/as experience the same violent prejudice there as we do under the thumb of the regime here in the US) - and when they uphold the system of prejudice against Black people here in the US, it functions as racism.

No one said anything about it being "impossible for minorities to be racist" you created that point on your own. Black people do not have the systemic power here in the US to be racist against Whites.

So Latinos, Arabs, and Asians can't be racist either?
They certainly can be - and have proven so in their home countries as well as here in the United States.

Anybody can be a racist.Hes not saying all black people are racist like the misleading thread title, hes saying a black person CAN be racist too just like any other race

what do ya call it when some black posters on this site go all out on any kind of latinos, whether its dominicans, ricans, mexicans etc. Saying shyt "scum of the earth", "go to another site this aint for you"(:dead: i got neg receipts) "they all need to die"(i already proved this one in a previous thread) "fukking spics"(word dont mean shyt to hispanics, im talking about the intent), i can go on and on with all the insane shyt you see people post on this site. You going to sit here with a straight face and say thats not racism? Is it systematic racism? of course not but the comments directed at latinos defitnitly are

So ill always stand by "ANYONE can be a racist". It doesnt matter what group you in, you can be a racist. Nothing wrong with that statement
The point is that the prejudiced opinions of Black people toward other minority groups does not create the systemic conditions of racism, it exists as prejudice.
Here's the simple and obvious point - do the prejudiced opinions of Black people here in the United States create any self-perpetuating systems of bias?
In housing? Education? Health? Geography? If not - then there is no "racism" in their prejudice.

HOW SO? PREJUDICE IS TERRIBLE TOO. IT DOESN'T HAVE THE IMPACT OF INSTITUTIONALIZED RACISM BUT IT'S STILL BAD. HE JUST USED THE WRONG WORD.
The issue is that "using the word wrong" as a media figure pushes his half-concocted thoughts out into the world. And stupid youth listen to him.

So are we bushing the webster dictionary now?
Decades of Black scholars, activists, and general community members telling y'all there's more to racism than just "prejudice" but for some odd reason, y'all don't seem to think there isn't.

So they got Webster's changed nikka -
Merriam-Webster Revises ‘Racism’ Entry After Missouri Woman Asks for Changes
Where did y'all get this from? There's a difference between racism and systemic racism.
Anyone can be racist.
You know exactly where they've got it from - you understand that systemic racism differs from regular racial bias - why are you surprised?

:mjlol:

Latinos economically are on the same level as AAs.

Asians have no voting power. Politicians don't give a shyt about them.

Arabs, well you see how hostile everyone is towards Arabs.

Those 3 groups have no power. AAs voting power is greater than any of those 3 groups (Latinos are on the come up though).

Again, if you want to be smart/dumb and use that definition of racism, these 3 groups shouldn't be called racist too. And that idea that they aren't is :mjlol:
All of them have noted anti-Black racism in their countries - from hiring, to incarceration, to state and interpersonal violence, to medical differences.

Racism doesn't start and end with groups here in the United States :gucci:
You know there's an entire world out there. :dwillhuh:
