Imagine having a 40 year old neighbor taking Ls online the hardcore way. Elite gamer.
Long as they don't Hear me taking Ls it's all good.

When they hear your strumming that d chord all day and playing the Chinese national anthem you might catch an Offline L

Good luck on your short and brief hobby

And if that guitar is acoustic ?

Finishing learning your chords. Once you learn them than learn ALL their variations and inversions. Get comfortable playing using them. Don't be one of these 3 or 4 chord guitar players.

Can also get into power chords they make you sound less dookie on the guitar when you first start but gets old quick.

:salute:

Very similar to playing the violin I have be comfortable and learn how each chord interacts with each other and their next step up.

On the guitar do I have an allowance of being in-between strings but not touching the other? For example index finger on the G string but it's closer to the D string but not touching the D. Is that allowable in form or is it strictly on the G string?

Get you a guitar chord bible. Shows you the fingering for each chord. And chording you can do whatever the violin fingers you got will allow you to do on it.

I been learning piano. Wanna fukk with bass guitar tho

I used to play piano, I miss it.

How long have you been learning?

The guitar is an interesting challenge so far. The fingerings is different to what I'm used to but the sound
:wow:

Get that bass I'm sure you won't regret it.

I was gonna buy a Keyboard or this guitar and I got a deal I couldn't miss out on. Piano and harp are my next two musical purchases unless I upgrade my violin.

:mjlol:

I'm about follow through so it will not be brief. The guitar having the option to be quieter than my violin allows me to practice without killing my ears.

Electric over here, you got your kids playing?

guitar is easy than a motherfukker.....just remember, any tension u feel in your body and hands is gonna translate to the sound of the chords and notes, its one instrument where u really gotta relax

I suggest u start learning in Drop D tuning.....u will have much more fun.

Started in 2017. Natural transition from making beats. I was actually buying coding courses online and they had $10 piano lessons and I copped them because I had a midi keyboard.

I used to play the trumpet and I would again in the future. That's definitely hard to play with neighbors so I was looking for things I can do in relative quiet.

Lately I been looking at the kalimba or mbira like :ohhh:. I want one in the future. Might get my pops to get me one back home...

Nah he has to build up some muscle memory and strength in those fingers. Although I do play in drop d, c# sometimes.

Op Figure out chords and how to read tabs. Then learn some scales. You can learn music theory if you want. I never really studied it. I might try I the future. I’ve been good without it but I definitely think it would take it to the next level.

Also just find some easy songs you enjoy to play and practice those as well. Enjoy the journey. I remember plucking away fro hours trying to figure shyt out. I miss it.
