I finished all of those games included Before The Storm. I liked Part 2 where two Mexican brothers. In Part 2 cacs were def and loved to kill these cacs. fukking these cacs .

Well, actually the connection references are there. Like An a$$hole cop step-dad from part 1 is also in part 2, he mentioned about his step-daughter and her friend and after the terrible happened at the ending from part 1.

I believe the main characters who have power from those games will meet each other in the future
