The World, but from BK
Cherry Wine...No Question..

Cherry Wine just had me :wow:

AG is a solid album but not better than Untitled or LIG. Nas just proved me that he can do anything with his music that you don't know what to expect froim him. Jay-Z just like you wouldn't be surprised and I can expected him what he's going to do with that album. All I can saying is Jay-Z didn't impress me unlike Nas.

Jay-Z is more like care about marketplace/$$$, Nas is more like care about MUSIC, ART FORM, etc.

Jay is just not innovative when it comes to song ideas or taking a different approach as a song writer.

RECAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP

BP3

I never expected a song liek Venus vs Mars
I never the flow on What we talkin about oozed versatility on each damn verse he switched it up
I never expected a song where Jay basically recaps the iconic presences of Hip Hop
Matta fact Jay's flow was very fresh on BP3...and thats freaking undeniable.

And thats the secret to Jay's longevity. He always always reinvents himself.

I dnt give a fiduck what you got to say :takedat:

So stop with your "Underdog stanning" :yeshrug:

On the fence on this one. When comparing the two, this is how I matched them up:

Pray vs. Loco Motive
American Dreamin' vs. Queen's Story
Hello Brooklyn vs. The Don
No Hook vs. Stay
Roc Boys vs. Cherry Wine
Sweet vs. Reach Out
I Know vs. World's An Addiction
Party Life vs. You Wouldn't Understand
Ignorant Sh.. vs. Summer on Smash
Say Hello vs. No Introduction
Success vs. Accident Murderer
Fallin' vs. Bye Baby
Blue Magic vs. Nasty
American Gangster vs. Black Bond

I did this based on either the feel of the song, the concept of the songs, or both. I felt "Pray" and "Ignorant Sh...", and "Blue Magic" were stronger on AG from the match ups and that "The Don", ""Black Bond" and "Reach Out" were stronger from LIG. The rest I felt were pretty much even.

:mindblown: You can't be serious.

Jay z has a much more diverse fanbase than Nas Has. When Jay puts out an album he is putting record labels on his back.

Nas can put out anything because no one is expecting to make any money off of it.

Jay is able to drop albums that leave hiphop heads, record execs and pop fans satisfied.

To be fair jay ain't sellin records like that no more. Jay speaks to a broader fan base because he has to in order to stay relevant.

Nas can put out whatever he wants to because his fan base is so strong.

I do agree with your last statement though, jay usually satisfies a wide range of tastes with his music.

both came with classic albums out of nowhere.

which one is it gonna be brehs

I disagree with this premise. N*gger was a good album and Distant Relatives was critically acclaimed. Why is LIG being an instant classic "out of nowhere"?

AG is truly out of nowhere because Kingdom Come fukking sucked.
