Imagine a 50 and Biggie collab in 2003 or pre GRODT :ohlawd::wow:

No doubt, Biggie most definitely would of messed with 50 Cent (Despite Jada saying Big would of spit on him, lol). 50 definitely learned from Big's blueprint. But we kinda got a glimpse with the remix of "N!ggas" called "The Realest N!ggas" which was on the "Bad Boys II" soundtrack. 50 had amazing chemistry with Lil Kim too.

Sadly this is true. That freestyle had verses from "Long Kiss Goodnight" and "Kick in the Door". At the time we didn't know where the verses were from so it was just a Freestyle but those verses ended up being his last freestyle. But he didn't get clapped for that, he got clapped cause the haters wanted him dead after Pac's death. As for people saying Big was wrong for this interview cause he sounded like he didn't care about Pac's death. Big was upset with Pac and how he treated him and called him out. So forgive him if he didn't sound so caring. I think he kept it real in this interview. Now Performing "Long Kiss Goodnight" in LA that was an interesting call but at the time nobody knew he was talking about Pac. With Pac being dead there was nothing Big could do, there were just people who wanted him Dead. He even got boo'ed at the Soul Train Music Awards. But Here's his last interview and freestyle:

Biggie was gonna leave Bad Boy..
\

Well he had a 7 Album deal back in the day labels always got rappers on those long ass rape deals

RTD - 1 LP
LAD - 2 LP's
Born Again - 3 LP's
Greatest Hits

Then he would of been done with Bad Boy contract. I also see Big leaving and just releasing music on his side label with Lance "Un" Rivera and working with his artist Lil Kim, Lil Cease, Cam'ron and Charli B-more. People have to remember, Big was lined up to have over 8 Executive Producer Credits by 2000. He had 3 at the time of his death.

I like this thread... well researched with a lot of actual information and effort spent. So take these comments in the spirit of trying to add to the discussion not criticize.

The Face Turn - Big stated he wanted to rap more conscious topics and he was moving on from the mafioso/versace subject matter he was more known for. This would have been the biggest heel/face turn in history of rap. I dont think he woulda gone conscious like say KRS-1 or Rakim, I think he was more going for a Slick Rick, meaning witty story telling with a theme behind it. I think 'Sky's The Limit'/'Juicy' is basically the mold of song that biggie might have been aiming for... Also with this angle I really don't know if Puffy would have let this go down. That was a major change to the direction of his cash cow... Its funny to think about it all we got a chance to hear from biggie was... its as if nas had died after it was written, or jigga had died after reasonable doubt... we really dont know what his legacy would have been. his whole legacy might be completely different today

(I don't think Biggie would of moved away from the Street tales or club records but I think he probably would of spoken on more world topics. In "Ready To Die" and "LIfe After Death" Big did have social commentary in his lyrics. Songs like "Things Dun Changed" and "Everyday Struggle" were deep as well as "Suicial Thoughts". Like you said with songs like "Sky's the Limit" and "Miss U" on "LAD" Big was moving to a more conscious level. But at the end of the day he was a storyteller so that raw content will always be there. It's like Eminem and NaS, they were way more conscious by their 3rd albums as appose to their 1st two albums. The only reason people get on Big's content cause he said some crazy wild stuff and he's always compared to Pac who was very socially conscious on his 1st 3 albums.)

The Triple CD - Would have never gone down... this has never been successfully pulled off by a big name rap artist. It was a concept that was floated around a lot at that time, but i dont think any of the big names who talked about this actually made it to a release.

(The Triple LP would of been a lot of work but Big was going to take 3 years to do "Born Again" after "LAD" so it's possible. He only had "The Commission" LP lined up before that. A lot of people don't know this but Hip Hop had a Triple album from 8 Ball called "Lost" that dropped in 1998. Big's album would of been way more successful than that:

(8 Ball "Lost" was Hip Hop's 1st Triple LP)

The Fall Off - Almost undeniable... i mean in the history of rap there are probably the only artist who can be considered to never have truly fallen off is Eminem and Jigga... and both have often been sited as having a huge decrease in passion/effort/final product... so just based off statistics we have to assume biggie woulda fallen off eventually... my personal perspective is hip hop was already turning on big time right before his death, so i think it woulda been earlier rather later

(Again it's speculation if he would fall off but he had so many connections to all the Hit Making producers and artist that reign supreme for the East after his death. I mean Jigga was his RIGHT HAND DISCIPLE, to me the sky's the limit for Big's Career.)

It's a strong case they would and wouldn't have at the same time

50 would've definitely dissed Biggie on the How To Rob joint, I'm not sure if they would have squashed issues after that (Jay and 50 went back and forth)

But 50 and Lloyd Banks did hop on that Bad Boy album with that Victory shyt, Biggie would've cosigned G-Unit for sure if this was the case

I'm a Jay-Z fan so don't get it twisted. But I'm shocked nobody even mentioned how he stole the whole "Black Album" with not promotion from B.I.G. I never heard that before.

"Black Album" is kinda a universal music thing tho'. Prince has a Black Album. Metallica has a Black Album. It's usually something high profile artists do after they're established. Of course Jay didnt actually go thru with the Black Album concept of no promo or videos 'nshyt so blah... guess he or Def Jam were too nervous to do that. When it comes to BIG, I'm almost positive Puff woulda been too nervous to do that, especially in that era.

On the real tho... DMX's 2nd joint was sorta like a Black Album of sorts. He didn't even have a video off the album until February '99 (two months later) and I swear I didn't even see an ad or anything indicating its release until the same week it came out. shyt dropped out the sky.

What's Crazy is Biggie close Friends Puffy and Jay Z have ruled the Forbes List for the last decade plus. Based on all these business ventures, endorsements and sponsors as well as having his own label with Junior Mafia going Gold, Lil Kim going Multi-Platinum, Lil Cease damn near went Gold without Biggie, imagine if Big was there to write it and produce it. Cam'ron and Charli both could easily go Gold with Biggie behind them. A lot of people don't believe this but Biggie's net worth is over 100 Million cause of all the samples and publishing and the money they made off the movie. I think Networth.com has him at around 150 Million. So I most def see Big being on the Forbes list with Diddy and Jay:
