I was about to post something addressing that. I swear that is one of my favorite events in Kushyte history! And swear a movie should have been made.

The Kushyte script still has not be deciphered. Their is a chance they could have won. Those Candance queens were badass... If more black women knew about that history.

Bro what's incredible to me is the longevity of Nubia

right after the kushytic era they went right into that wonderful Makurian era, and that's after being a powerful state for essentially thousands of years
