I think a lot of people here are confusing racism with oppression. People can be oppressed due to racism...but not everybody who's racist has the power to oppress. Maybe institutionalized racism should be changed to institutionalized oppression for clarification purposes. Seems much better than making up new definitions for words that don't need them.
