Breh, why are you acting like words don't change meaning? If people are using the word racism to mean something else, that definition is valid. You know that when people say racist they are often referring to the system of white supremacy or being oppressed. and it you don't know, now you know. But you're right, according to the white man's dictionary, black people can be racist, too.

So black people can't be racist, because when people are referring to racism they specifically mean white supremacy? Asian people can't be racist? Latinos?

This is a pointless argument, it's just semantics. No one is arguing that black people are capable of white supremacy, but that also isn't what racism means.

So yes but what we can't do is institutionally oppress other ethnic groups. We don't have that power. Whites do globally. Arabs do in the Middle East. Asians do in Asia

If we're being honest here, black people have taken institutional racism and tried to make it the definition for normal racism so that we can play the, "I'm not racist because I don't have power" card. Institutional racism is a very real thing. But so is racism on an individual level. And you're fooling yourself if you sincerely believe that there aren't viciously racist black people out there. Why should I trust a definition created by a white person? White people have zero incentive to have an honest discourse on the subject and only a fool would take thier opinion seriously.

This type of argument is purely semantics... it's silly to me.

Black people are obviously not the perpetrators of THE racist system of opression here in America, they are the victims of it. So obviously they can't be racist in that context. But anyone can be racist generally speaking because the word racist just means you think there are fundamental differences between human beings based purely on "race" and generally, you look down on other "races" for reason A, B, or C. Anyone can do that.

However, white people complaining about racism towards them.... cause they can't say nikka and shyt like that is embarassing. So most of the time when black racism is brought up, it will be some dumb shyt like white people feeling like black people are racist cause they "keep racism alive by bringing it up all the time" . The thought process shown in those examples is just bullshyt, but long story short yeah; anyone can be racist in my opinion.
