My g/f used to do Pre-Paid Legal and now does Organo Gold Coffee. She was telling her firend about cats in this coffee business raking in $20K monthly on the humble. She's more trusting than me, talking about " :childplease:what motivation do they have to lie?" I obviously see the same connection that record sales have to rap music. Pump 'em up falsely and hop reality catches up!

Anyone up on this coffee shyt yet?

It's not a Fortune 500 company...it's on some other list. Small business 250 or some shyt. It's very far from being Fortune 500. It's at about $50M, the last company on the fortune 500 is over $4,700M.

I love how folks are like "Well its a publically traded company, so it cant be a scam". :usure: How many companies are on the pink sheets that aren't truly legit businesses? Alot. These folks are cult like in their beliefs

Some lady brought in samples from her cuz at work. Nobody ate them thangs but me. I got like 50 grams of protein for free. She then wanted me to sign up for daily lunches. :heh:

I showed my lunch box full of fruits and salad like :stopitslime:

She then said I could still ad dem wraps to my diet. :rudy:

I kinda felt like an ass the way she was looking at me like

why is this shyt not illegal.

Cause people getting rich off of them and the aggressive prosper. Face it, there are a few MLMs that are legit (just a few), but people have no real solution to their financial problems nowadays. Getting a second job or a better job will only soften the blow. I ain't hear of no story of a person getting legitimately rich off of a 9-5. Might as well engage in it and prosper when you can :manny:

So I'm in the store the other day and this old-ass nikka walks up to me on some "hey, would you like to make $40,000 a month?" type-shyt and I look at him like :what:, who wouldn't? Then he goes on talking about how the wireless phone industry is worth billions of dollars and how if I buy a person buys a phone through his company, they would save x amount of dollars. So he then talk about how he is 70 years old and is looking to be a millionaire in a couple of years :comeon:. Long-story short this nikkas ask for my number and says he would like to call me to explain further and I'm like "nah pops :comeon:, I'm straight...I got your card, if I like what I see, I'll call you." Now this nikka goes in on a rant about how black people is never ready to capitalize on opportunities and I just hit him with the :beli: and kept it moving. This multi-level marketing shyt is outta control :snoop:

I hate it when they trick elderly people into that mess

I have a friend who's into advocare...pretty similar to herbalife. The pipe dreams the upper tiered members be selling them are :heh:. Their biggest selling phrase is "do you think Drew Brees would be involved in a scam/pyramid scheme?"

fukking :dead:.

I have a couple of friends doing some marketing shyt (called CNC or some shyt like that; I know this cat in Cali is like the head of that shyt). Basically you get people to sign up on your "website" so they can save on their bills. Apparently it's legit, and my friends are seemingly eating well, but you never know....

A year after I had graduated high school, I was 19 and I hadn't enrolled in college (did so later) so my moms was harping on me to find a better job. Figure out what i want to do with my life type shyt. Saw an ad for $16/hr, so I said why not :manny:

Cutco/Vector Marketing.....most of yall already know what bullshyt took place :snoop:

After my first hour in there, I knew it was bullshyt. One....nikkas wanted $149 for a knife set to use in showings. Even at 19, I knew that's where their money came from :duck: Two....they wanted us to be walking door to door knocking on random people's houses and begging our family to buy that shyt :heh: I thought that shyt was like a call center type spot. Three.....the dude interviewing me just handed me the job and said I'd be making 100k in 3 months and running my own office :duck: Four......to appease my mom, I went back the next day and they drove us to Baltimore for a conference. It was so fukkin sad and pathetic. Looked like a damn cult. Like a scene from the movie "Boiler Room". I knew I fukked up the minute I walked in. 500 people in there harping on some white dude's every last word and he never once explained what they do or how they make their money. It was shyt like "you can be successful too, you deserve this life, dont listen to your friends and family.....they're holding you back" :russ: :rudy:

I felt like such a dumbass for riding two hours to Baltimore and having to stay and listen to this bullshyt to get a ride back home. The second we touched back to Philly, I couldn't have ran out of that office fast enough. told moms Id find somethin else. I aint pay them nikkas that $149 either :rudy:

Oh yea, there was this dude on the bus who told me he dropped out of college to go sell knives :russ:

Funny, everyone I come across says the same thing about that Cutco/Vector shyt...I almost got roped into it one day, thank God I didn't go for the ''interview"....

why is this shyt not illegal.

The only reason why it's not the same as a pyramid scheme is because there's a product (insurance, juice, knives) etc that;s being promoted. Eventhough they do not care about the product or barely (if at all) make any money from it.

Cause people getting rich off of them and the aggressive prosper. Face it, there are a few MLMs that are legit (just a few), but people have no real solution to their financial problems nowadays. Aint nobody but the top dogs that started it are getting rich from it. You mention the few legit ones but which are the legit ones to prosper from?

Apparently Primerica is having their annual convention at the Georgia Dome.

My friend was posting on her facebook how she's going to a "business meeting" this weekend with her team (they call themselves 'team unstoppable' lol).

I wonder how much she had to pay for tickets to the event.
