These stories of deception always crack me up.:russ:

At least those cats know they're selling a job...what kills me is the idiots who actually think they're mainly selling those products. Like 5Linx cats saying they're in "telecommunications" or "energy" and really believing it.:laff:

this old cac had the NERVE to brag about all his young black workers under him who were dropping out of college cause of all the money they were making. shyt looked so god damn unproffesional i was disgusted... i havent talked to my moms friend since...

Another thing that 5linx people like to bring up is that their company is a Fortune 500 company. Than they like to toss around their rediculous titles as if it has any weight at all.

I can't lie, I enjoy watching their BS videos about how this business works and how it's changed their families/friends lives, but when you ask them to show you something tangible, they never can. Just a bunch of "promotion certificates" that I could print off at kinkos.

lmaooo, they were showing off their board of "promotions" and their were like 16 Vice Presidents....

I have a guy on my FB Newsfeed that promotes this Motor Club shyt.

All he ever posts about is how much money he's making and how you can start making money by starting off with a 40 dollar start up fee or some shyt.

Tdot.. till the death of me
Cause they think that we are hungrier and more aggressive to promote that product. I know some black (Caribbean) folks that have had success with MLMs and live large, but again, you got to find the right one that has not yet oversaturated the market.

They actually target minorities (often black people} because they think we're too stupid to figure out that it's a scam.

that and the fact that they know its easy to trick someone whose poorer and desperate, then someone who already has there sh!t together.

:smh:

:obama:

malicious ass b1tches

how does that world ventures sh1t work?

I know that 5 linx pulls people in by selling them hopes and dreams and making them pay like $500 plus monthly frees.........and if u get enough people under u then u can rape them just like you've been raped.....all under the facade of selling worthless products that nobody actually buys to make it not look like a pyramid scheme.

What does Worldventures actually promise? I don't get it....how do they get people to give up the $$$?

:dwillhuh:

Travel/Vacations at a discount (not airfare). It $200 for membership and them $50 a month. There is a more exclusive one for $1000 and then $100 a month. The monthly fee gets waived if you get 4-6 members (and they have to stay members)...but the thing is...their discounts isn't even worth the membership in the first place. You can find the same shyt at any other travel website/agent for about the same price. You also go to their "training" concerts for $300-$500.

Also, some of it is group based. So if the group requirement isn't fulfilled, no discount. You also just can't take it when you want, the travel is on specific dates and you have to stay at a specific hotel. World Ventures doesn't even sell the travel, the travel is through a third-party.

My friend is always posting about her trips, but she's only been to Tennessee.

I get a call today from an 832-887 number and I'm like, "this looks like a Cricket number. An old ratchet looking for that good? :ohhh::jawalrus:" But no, it was my cousin's upline from Momentis, an MLM scheme. I pretended not to know who he was and played ignorant and I was expecting him to try to sell me on Momentis again but this dude had a NEW scheme. :mindblown: Some shyt called Isagenix. What happened to that Momentis money breh? Why are you possibly using a Cricket number as your business phone. :why: No, no this isn't right at all.

How about Avon and Mary Kay? It's got to be something tricky with them.

My mom is thinking about sell Avon again. If it was so great why did she stop? I'm going to do some research and talk to her. I know it's a lot of work chasing people around for money, making and delivering orders. I doubt it's worth all the trouble, I'm sure there isn't a lot of profit.
