Braun had such a spark when he started. The fans loved seeing him squash jobbers years ago, had that standout match with Big Show, where they broke the ring, was flipping over ambulances and shyt with Reigns causing all types of fukkery, then Brock washed him in like 5 minutes, got stiffed and didn’t respond back, then eventually teamed with a child, and he hasn’t been the same since. Even when he won the Universal title it didn’t feel like a big deal, and it has nothing to do with Covid.

Got to be able to work the mic to have staying power.
He also still learning to tell a story in the ring. He just goes out there and does stuff. He doesn't have a creative bone in his body. I'd hope Big Show's underrated ability to tell a story would rub off on him. It didn't. Shame. He should of been more focused on honing in on his craft and less worried about being a mark on his own material.

The best time to pull the trigger on him was in 2018. Lesnar made him look like a chump at No Mercy, but it looked like he bounced back. Instead of putting him in the main event of WrestleMania 34, they have him win the tag titles with a ten-year-old boy. Before that, he eliminated every guy in the Elimination Chamber except for Roman. Then they have him win MITB (which he didn't need to), announce his plans to cash in right before the Lesnar/Reigns match starts, and they have Lesnar make him look like a chump again so he can't cash in.
Then they turn him heel again, and quickly turn him face again after Roman gets cancer. They make it seem like he'll be the conquering hero at Crown Jewel. Lesnar just lost the title a few months ago, Reigns had to drop it, Strowman would be next in line. Nope, Lesnar gives him the beating of his life and wins the title again.
It's a miracle they gave him the title after all that, but only because he took Roman's spot.

Not regarding the gif, but I think Braun or his agent biggest mistake is buying into Lesnar style of wrestling and this is where his work rate got stale and more limited.
On top of that, he doesn't want to put in the work to be great. He showed some mad flashes as a great big man that can work and it just disappear.
WWE needs a new Kane, Undertaker, or Big Show badly. He can barely shine their shoes in the ring, personality, and storytelling.
But he’s over here being a biggity bytch because he ain't a playfighting champion.
All he got is Roman putting him over and stealing a 10 year old catchphrases with generic powerslam finisher.
You can't expect other wrestlers to carry your ass to a decent match like Big Show and Reigns, because you wanna no sell shyt as match psychology.

With the way Brock (and now Roman to an extent) have chumped this dude out, I feel like he’s got some unspoken heat. His career has the weirdest, most unevenness of any main event character I’ve ever seen.
