I think he should have won the title when he was feuding with Roman and Brock but Vince only saw him ass a worthy contender and never as a champ. fukk what everyone else thinks, fukk momentum and being hot. What's the excuse over the past year when Roman hasn't been anywhere near the top of the card and has been feuding with Baron Corbin for 9 months?
I think it was definitely Brock repeatedly smashing and squashing Braun that did more damage to him than anything Roman related. He actually did go over Roman multiple times. But then they'd put him with Brock and have Brock completely destroy him and make Braun look like a bytch. You can't put that on Roman or Roman's booking, because even after Roman went over Brock to finally win the title from him, they still have booked Brock to just chew people up and make whatever build up they've had completely pointless.
In 2019, Seth beat Brock for the title TWICE and what happened? Brock immediately won the other title in one move and Seth was turned into a crying baby against The Fiend.
Brock Lesnar's booking has been far more damaging to the main event scene than Roman's over the past 5 years.

Have the group injure Braun the day he beat Shinsuke. Like he had powerslammed Nakamura 3 times. He goes for the pin, Zayn and Cesaro beat his ass with multiple chair shots, break his foot, whatever. Hes out 2-3 weeks, off tv.
Sami runs his mouth for weeks
Big return after Shinsuke has beaten the shyt out of someone on Smackdown, we go to Mania where he wins his first singles belt.
