The only thing that they fukked up about Lost was never explaining the black cloud thing

they woulda done better just hiring some CGI experts and making it a dinosuar

the smoke monster was jacobs brother/dude that was impersonating Locke after he got killed

i remember they showed how he got turned into the smoke monster in a flashback

nah dude you quoted needs to know every last detail
like HOW does he turn into smoke
does his molecular structure re-arrange itself

bah....I don't care, some things need to be left a mystery, takes all the fun out of it when you explain every single minute detail (PS3 MGS)

Unanswered LOST Questions - YouTube

A lot of these questions are bullshyt, some were answered or heavily implied.

As much as I enjoyed the fan culture, this was one of the issues I had with it....people became ultra petty with the theorizing, and it got to the point where trivial matters became more important that character development or pacing.

For instance, "Who built the four toed statue?" We saw, when the survivors were jumping through time (I think it was the episode where Charlotte dies, maybe not though), that at one point, the statute was a giant Anubis looking thing. We also later find out that their were different groups, at different times, living on the island (Jacob, his brother, and his mother for instance). It's clear that one of these past groups built the statute...people eventually started asking for too many explanations like this.

Yes, there were some plot holes when all was said and done, but I've never understood "Where are the ANSWERS". The major issues of the show we're eventually resolved.

Keep watching. Despite the show's flaws, it's still great epic Television.

Season 5 was actually great. The time travel aspect added a lot to the show and started to bring it full circle by answering a lot of pertinent questions. And the season finale was epic.

But season 6 was trash and was evident the writers had no freaken idea what was going on. It kind of took the luster from the greatness we already witnessed.

Here is one thread referencing a Rolling Stone interview he did:

There was absolutely no master plan on Lost" insists David Fury (in 2005). | IGN Boards

The funny thing is I warned SOHH about this shyt back when the show was still on and people actually got mad at me. I was laughing my ass off when the finale dropped.

The show was trash, and it's laughable to put it anywhere near the all time greats. Any "great" scenes I can't even give credit to because it's easy to create a great scene if that's all you have to worry about. It's not as if they worked on the plot making sense, or answering any questions.
