Supernatural disagrees with you.
Even supernatural wasn't written out to a t. It is true that they always had a 5 year plan that ended with Sam and Dean dying to avert the apocalypse. But Kripke himself said Angels weren't even thought about til after the decision to make Dean go to hell. Original plan was for sam to save dean but the writers strike happened and they didn't have enough time to pull that off.

Im sure LOST had a ending in mind. But again tv shows don't even know if they getting renewed. Aint no way they have EVERYTHING planned out.

But on the flip side I do agree this show probably spitballed ALOT more then other shows.

What was Walt's full circle exactly? He never saw his father again, there was no explanation of his gifts or powers, the last time he was seen on the show he was asking Locke about his father and Locke didn't tell him the truth. What the fukk type of satisfying conclusion is that?

And again, the one thing that was most important to Michael, which was reconciling with Walt, never happened. He died on the freighter. He showed up again as a Force Ghost to help Hurley and that was the end of his chapter. It was bullshyt

There's a secret ending on the dvd release of last season. Walt ends up with Hurley and Ben as one of the protectors of the island. Hurley let Walt know what Michael did to save them.

Michael's story is his redemption for what he did to Hurley and Libby.

But ABC gave them a 3 season order so they can craft their ending.

This is true. Which is why most of the questions that came up post season 3 is all solved. It's season 2-3 mysteries that people keep bringing up.

Adam and Eve should prove that they had SOME type of end game in place. But like I said I def agree this show just went with the flow more then any other drama.
