Let's keep it real: Patrick Ewing was a better college Basketball player than Michael Jordan

Jordan also played in a weak ass era where he had he had weakling cacs guarding him on a nightly basis. The game Jordan played in was nowhere near as advanced as this one. He was great for his era. KEY WORD: His era. Move on nikka, Jordan has been passed up on that end of the court.

Steph/Bron/Harden/Durant is just names of few.

I am sure those guys will be pass too. The game is getting better and better. Just evolution dumb nikkas

I feel the same way about Hershel Walker compared to Bo Jackson. Hershel was the better college player
Hershel was burned out to a degree after the USFL and UGA ran him into the ground. He still had a successful NFL career but I can see the comparison between him and Ewing who also peaked early to a degree. LOL @ Minnesota and that trade.

Shut up and save your paragraphs. I'm using your words and the awards you posted against you.

I see 9 different types of Player of the Year awards for Mike(including rupp, Naismith and wooden). 6 for ewing. You can deny a lie but you can't deny the truth.
Don't get negged being a bytch nikka and watch your tone son. Both got 10 in total with MJ having 10 in 3 years compared to Ewing in 4 years. You could make the point that MJ had more POY success especially in 1984 but in that same year with a worse team, Georgetown won the national championship and went to the natty game three times. MJ only went once and not as the best player on his team. You got a case for MJ.

People need to be honest about John Thompson’s big man academy. No one wants to have that convo cuz feelings will be hurt.

I will put it like this, Othella Harrington was Georgetown’s most skilled offensive big man in the Big John era.:sas2:
lol, Deke, Zo, Ewing. He wanted his bigs to play, live, and die playing defense. Ewing lost his way in the NBA. Zo and Deke stayed true to the Georgetown way.

They are all HOFers, but they were super limited offensive players. It’s why none of them won titles as the best player. Imagine building around a jump shooting, defensive center. :scust:

Ewing broke down athletically and couldn’t adjust to not being top dog in the 90s. People shyt on Starks for that game 7, but Ewing had a terrible series.

Lol at a neg.

fukk you and your neg you corny fakkit.

Jordan got the same amount of ncaa championships, more awards in less time (see: your original post), more college player of the year awards despite playing a year less than ewing (also see: your original post) and averaged more ppg :mjlol:

Ewing had better team success, but stats and awards say MJ was the better player.

I agree to a degree. Ewing BBIQ that series was fukking amazing on defense. He made it hard af on Hakeem that series. He did miles better v. Hakeem than D. Rob and Shaq did in the next postseason. Ewing offense always lets him down when it matters most. While Malone was more disappointing in the playoffs on offense than Ewing, Ewing clearly wasn't a #1 option. That's why Starks had to fake it till he made it. The NBA lacked so much offense in that fukking era on average, it killed the league to me. Just imagine if NY replaced Anthony Mason with Chris Mullin. I know Mason had that present, hell, he wanted to beat my ass in Atlanta but Mullin would have been fit for that squad.

Think about it

Anthony
Starks
Mullin
Oak
Ewing

That would win titles. Multiple under Riley.
