no. Dolphins D is in win now mode and eirh not much talent on O deshaun would be an upgrade.
Chargers not even entertaining a change at QB and that’s who y’all are comparing him too.

I didn’t make the comparison. But y’all think you can plug and play a qb in any offense. Herbert is an anomaly.

No hate on Tua but where is the consistency and the progression?

The only times he has had big numbers are those where the games he had 48 pass attempts and 58 pass attempts.

Every other game he's been dinking and dunking the ball off for 5-6 yard gains and 200 yards or something.

Dolphins fans don't need Tua to be Drew Brees but to this point he's basically just Tanned Skin Sam Darnold. NFL Quarterbacks are judged quickly...perhaps unfairly...but it is what it is.

At the end of the day there’s a reason they subbed him back out for Fitz and were rumored to be in on Deshaun. The brain trust isn’t sold and they see him in practice too

Because like its been stated already, once the defense showed that they were a high quality group, the playoffs became an option, and the ups and downs a rookie QB is gonna go through were no longer part of the process so they sat him, brought him back sat him etc
The Dolphins timeline changed.
They weren't in rebuilding mode like they thought they were.

Ive never seen a QB get crowned so quickly and the other QB in the draft be left for dead so quickly. This is ridiculous. What would Herbert be doing in Miami with the OLine struggles the team has had? What would Miami’s current record be? What would Miami’s record be last year? Media slobbers this guy, but denigrates anything Tua does. Even in a win.

Man stfu.. like tank for Tua didn't exist.

Herbert worked for his.. if Herbert had been on Alabama in college, he wouldve shredded the NCAA passing marks.

We're not gonna sit here and act like the Herbert that we're seeing now was the same one that we saw at Oregon.

Objectively Tua has talent but I don't see anything in him that shows he is gamebreaker with that said, I think Tua is a victim of expectations as well, the Dolphins were supposed to be in a rebuild but defensively, they showed the past 2 seasons that, the defense and special teams alone might be enough to make them a Wildcard team. As long as the organization stays patient with him and keeps building on the offense especially the line as Tua is brittle they should be ok.

Also can we relax on Justin Herbert, he's one of those QBs who ended being a much better pro then he was in college, it happens.

This is where coliscouts act like thry knew Herbert would show out from game1. Cats are so damn dishonest.
I thought he really plateau in college. He was a high ceiling low floor reward player. And I'll fight anyone that thought he was a safe bet. I watch damn near 20+ games and it felt like he'd have to fall in a perfect situation with a good offensive coach to get him to break through that glass ceiling in college.
