Coming at Herbert is the last thing any Dolphin/Tua stan should be doing right now, they don't look like they belong on the same field thus far :picard:

He's only had 10 starts, with 9 of those being with Chan Gailey as his OC. Who thinks its a smart idea to have chan as a OC in 2020 isn't the brightest tool in the drawer.
Has no running game and didn't have a number one wr last year either.
Yeah he struggled but what rookie doesn't he shown flashes.
Dolphin fans acting like Ray Lucas aint one if their top 5 QBs in franchise history.

Oh, the irony

That's what I'm saying. Defend your guy but #10 is chasing the greats. He ain't concerned with his young peers cause he doesn't have any.

The Tua hate comes from sports fans and those in the media not being accustomed to seeing a Polynesian QB. Especially after Marcus Mariotta. The disrespect is ridiculous. Dolphins fans being constantly reminded that the organization should’ve gone with Herbert, is just ridiculous. Even certain Dolphins fans are never satisfied with Tua. :mjpls:

You're right. Remember Burrow wanted to go to Miami too. Burrow makes you guys the 4th best team in the league imo

i read that the OC basically ran two different offences. One for fits, one for that. And yes a 15 year vet who is animist with an offense will look bette than an injured rookie.

people need some perspective. Evaluate the kid fairly.
Fitz let him call the offense he wanted to call, Fitz wasn’t scared to throw the ball down field and give his receivers a chance to make a play of the ball, Tua was he was always checking down. Now in the preseason and game 1 I’ve seen he’s gotten a lot better at that so let see if that will change the perception on him

"Tank for Tua" was the mantra across football for an entire year
He's been mid as fukk at best since being in the league. With that dynamic people are going tend to focus on his negatives. He basically was supposed to be a franchise changing type QB for Miami and right now it's looking like he might actually be a detriment to the team reaching it's full potential. It's early in his career but in the current NFL no one gives a fukk about giving dudes 3-4 yrs to reach full potential, you need to show signs early
Just a continued trend of Alabama players being largely busts in the NFL.

dude, fits is comfortable in that offense he has played in it for years. There’s a reason he and gailey have been together on several teams. You can’t discount that.

It will be easier to evaluate thus this year.

folk give up too early in players and act like they all have the same situations.

He's played 10 games :skip:
And he has had flashes of making incredible plays and throws in his 10 games.
At the end of the day there’s a reason they subbed him back out for Fitz and were rumored to be in on Deshaun. The brain trust isn’t sold and they see him in practice too
