I fukk with all of the food mentioned in this thread heavy, Senegalese is legit too. Yassa poulet with bissap

if you like spicy food you can't really go wrong with Jamaican or West African food

Soul Food is top 3 to me though and especially Louisiana style, nothing beats a good cup of gumbo

They are insofar that every region cooks plantains differently.

Ask for some Jamaican hot sauce to go with the beef patties for added flavor, they're still spicy without the hot sauce though.

If you fukk with seafood get some ackee & salt fish too
