Again, you're stating that you have it right, your preference is correct, objectively, and if anyone doesn't think the same exact way you do then they are saying differently because reasons. That's the biggest example of "nikkaz can't fathom another person of color not agreeing with you" in this thread, you claiming white people fake liked it, and you claiming black people like it just because they black (and implying that black people loving something is a bad thing). Be secure in your position and just say you don't like it that much. You don't have to go and find a reason why your taste doesn't align with the majority.

And some black people really need to stop acting like they get extra points of objectivity for not liking something other black people like. Reminds me of this black dude I know that wears it like a badge of honor that he hates rap music. Goes out of his way to talk about white artist, rock, etc and finishes it off on some "well I don't just go with what other black people like" as if that makes his opinion more sound.

Get Out is not an oscar flick. That's MY opinion. Stop quoting me and keep it moving. You taking all this shyt to heart. Get over it. If you go to my Top 10 Movies of 2017 thread you will see Get Out is in my top 5. Now don't quote me again.

I don't think its the best movie to be nominated for best picture, but I am fine with it winning, and for sure deserves to be nominated for all other categories it was.

The real travesty is that "Three Billboards" was nominated for anything.....despicable movie.
