Come on let's be honest here. People of color or foreigners are much more easily sterotyped and prejudiced by the white population than if it was a white male. It's not hateful to point out that truth. Did you hear about the brown guy that was tackled because he was running away from the bomb area and a bunch of people(probably white), thought he was the terrorist who did this act? They were acting on the past history of 9/11 and brown/darker skinned terrorist, yet all the bombings that have happened in the U.S have been committed by white males. No white males were attacked like that the day of the bombing. I don't think the threadstarter or anyone else for that matter wants it to be a white male as if to say fukk you to white males. It's just that minorities are much more easily prejudiced in this country than whites and if the suspect turns out to be white there will be no prejudicy because they are a majority of the population.

Its hard not to agree with the article. Its not white privilege thats misunderstood, its the general ignorance of the middle/upper middle class in this country of their role in the system that leads to all this bullshyt. They think the luxury they live in relative to the developing world doesn't come at a price. I cant wait until the middle class is gone.

Even black people in the upper middle class really identify with the agencies that promote what we call white privilege, they just get a pass because they supposedly reflect well on the unsuccessful blacks.
