just started running again the past week and a half

10:14 my first time back at it:flabbynsick:

8:42 the next time :flabbynsick:

got it to 6:43 finally getting back into it:ehh:

I could get it to 6:20-6:00 through sheer effort my next couple times but I just need to be in better shape to get it to a sub 5:30

5:46...

Actually wasn't happy today, I'm starting to think the treadmills are broke. Just seems too easy. It took my a long ass time to get to 5:26 before, a lot of hard ass work and I was much lighter at the time, with 187lbs being my lightest weight.

If the treadmills are correct, then I'm considerably faster than before. I'm 230lbs, I read each pound of weight loss shaves off 2 seconds from your running times.

I can run 8 minute miles for the most part if I'm running a treadmill since it's so much easier than running outside. but if I'm out here, I'm running in the wind and sometimes on hills. running outside is a totally different beast. I have NO idea how fast I could run one mile since I never run any distance shorter than 5. this is me yesterday, and I had no trouble completing this run since it was cool and not humid.

Doing 6:30 or something like that on the treadmill, but that's at 9.1mph pace. I'd like to be at 10.3 mph ideally. I'm 186lbs, so it should be possible, just dont have the wind yet. Running that pace will be much harder off the treadmill too, but this is helping my form and pace develop

You'll be there very soon.

I'm attempting a 5:40 mile today which is a 10.6mph pace.

ran a trail instead of the track last time and it it took me 7:01. I still havent gone all out trying to get as fast a time as possible. I've been working on trying to keep the same pace throughout. a couple times from now I'll proly go for broke and update
