I see you plucked that out. :sas1: I thought that was one of the more obvious connections based on the OP .....maybe people are more attached to romance than I thought :sas2:
Its not as obvious when the brehs come back to the coli with the :totheeastside: because they shared that girl tho...I wonder how attached they'll be to romance then :purpmit:

Love, to me, is wanting someone to be happy despite gaining something from it. Whether you get something from it or not is irrelevant, it's about making the other person happy and comfortable whether that's emotionally, financially, or physically.

I am not throwing shade on OP but shyt is kinda obvious and long winded at speaking to that...how can you expect someone else to love you if you can't love and be content with yourself?

Not self love necessarily but oneness with the universe and acceptance of the human condition. Those love terms are often still rooted in ego, even the "self love" it's saying marriages and relationship are not the solution to spiritual and emotional disconnections many people may think.

Idk what love is but I'll just keep making more money and graduate with my masters then my amazonian 0 body count; 100305% loyal natural haired freak Meagan Good/Nia Long hybrid who happens to like the same music as me and cook all the time while living in the BJJ gym and doing philanthropy on the side will fall out of the sky :troll:

Exactly!

In Layman's terms this is it in a nut shell.

Yeah tomato/toe-mat-toe for self-love, oneness, ego and so on.

Man that OP basically pointed at the fact that miserable maladjusted people always tend to prop up other basic human beings into imaginary paragons for whatever quality they aspire to have around...when the reality of the matter is that you don't enter into relationships to be fixed...its no one's responsibility other than your own.

On to ego now...vulnerability is the most basic part of entering into something serious with a person...its why nikkas and women become bitter because (for those of us that aren't around bitter and influential people) the vast majority of us enter into relationships with a very ignorant naivety that has a tendency of molding our general worldview moving forward. I am not throwing shade on OP but shyt is kinda obvious and long winded at speaking to that...how can you expect someone else to love you if you can't love and be content with yourself?

Idk what the end is trying to say about deeper/true love being short-lived..rare is understandable...but i don't know how that kind of love can simultaneously be short-lived...it seems like an oxymoron.

From what my parents went through, I feel sometimes when the love is that deep it can make you miserable. :wow: Love can take on many forms as well, it doesn't have to be purely romantic. It can start with romance and then change it's form to security, understanding, mutual respect, which is how I think people who are very successful in marriages/LTRs last.

But you told me to stay miserable implying that being single and #GMB is miserable:dwillhuh:

Never say never but ain't no woman going to bring stress into my life...I can't possibly conceive why or how I would accept that :wow:

I'm not 12 goddammit :beli:, the novelty always dies off and you're faced with everything a person has to offer...if I can't speak to any qualities she has and tangible examples to back them up then I fukked up.

GMB is miserable. Like I said, just find you a reserved refugee woman who's kinda a little bit crazy.

So to love someone you have to be in deep connection with yourself? That means I should stay single because I'm still in the process of soul searching.
I think you can still date and improve yourself. You just shouldn't put people on a pedestal or search for someone to heal you. You have to heal/love yourself. Relationships are lessons, they help you grow If you take the time to be introspective and figure out how to improve.

This is why I don't feel like I'm in love in my current relationship. I'm so focused on trying to heal my boyfriend that I can't bring myself to let him heal himself and in effect truly love him. I do however feel like I'm falling in love.

I think I value trust more than love honestly. Knowing that I can trust someone wholeheartedly serves a greater purpose than loving them which can make me blind to certain situations.

Like, my wife's my best friend and with that, she's got 100% of my trust. Sure, I love her but some days I can't stand her. Trust though, that shyt never waivers like love. It's more logical than the emotional shyt attached to love.

Maybe that's what love is... I dunno. That's just my two cents on it :yeshrug:
I agree
