Bernie also refused to talk about black specific issues outside of climate control

Bernie wanted to do too much. I believe in a lot of what he says but to try and do it all At once wasn’t happening. He should of kept it to 1 or 2 things.

Bernie refused to work with the DNC. If the ppl who run the process don’t believe you’ll work with them they won’t help you. He could of been Trump, but didn’t do what Trump did. Trump surrounded himself with GOP leaders of influence very quickly in order to work within the confines of the Republican Party.

IMO, Bernie lost because Bloomberg came in with trillions to defend capitalism and people got scared off Bernie's socialist plans and went with the "safe" pick of Biden. Bernie clearly stood for what the Democratic Party is and wants to be. Can't say the same for Biden. Should have got Liz on his team instead of competing against her and it would have been a slam dunk for them.

Huge mistakes by Bernie, biggest one of course is not reaching out to people.

1. Should've never attacked pharmaceutical corporations and that would've helped him reach out to Jim Clyburn. Also should've let Clyburn run his campaign

2. Should've promised Hillary the VP spot and Neera Tanden Secretary of State. Never would've had Hillary attack him and Neera's PACs wouldn't attack him if he reached out

3. Should've never made that huge faux pas of calling Palestinians human beings. If he reached out to AIPAC they wouldn't have spent millions of dollars attacking him

4. Should've reached out to Obama to let him be his VP instead of Biden. Also should've learned how to play the saxophone, he had plenty of time since 2016. Nobody but himself to blame there

5. Should've walked back his stance on taxing big corporations, billionaires and especially his m4a plan. This way CNN, MSNBC and other corporate media wouldn't have been attacking him 24/7 because he threatened their parent companies and companies that advertise on their platforms. Should've reached out to mulit-billion, multi-national corporations


6. Should've used that money he earned from his book sales and gave $5 million to Stacey Abrams, black mayors around the country and took out a $350 million dollar loan to specifically target black voters

7. And finally and most importantly twitter Bernie Bros. He never did enough to stop them. Should've created a Nazi hunter like paramilitary group to search and liquidate mean Bernie Bros who as we were told by media are pretty much Brown Shirts

You’re right they did split votes for Biden. However, if Warren dropped out and the rest didn’t Bernie would have been the nominee by now. That’s what I’m arguing.

this isn't an argument, it's some super perfect case scenario/hypothetical for Bernie. Any political strategist who steered a campaign with that strategy would deserve to be unemployed. Moderates were always going to drop, and that consolidated vote was always going to be bigger than Liz's portion of the progressive vote when she dropped.
