Lets discuss A & M exposing the sec

why sohuld a 1 loss bama or georgia get a shot over a 1 loss oregon who lost at home to a stanford team that is ranked number 8 and los tonly 2 games this year both on the road one to the number 1 team in the country notre dame

yet a bama team that lost to texas a&m(ranked ten) who lost two home games will get a shot at the title game

Florida deserves a shot before all three, but since they're not going to play in their conference championship are out of consideration.. Bama, Georgia, and Oregon all have one loss against teams in the top 10 & that have two losses. I would say you have to look at who all three end up having beaten on their resume:

If Georgia gets in they would have beaten 2 top 10 teams (FL and Bama)
If Bama gets in they would have beaten 2 top 10 teams (LSU & UGA)
If Oregon would have gotten in they would have 0 wins against top 10 teams

If Oregon had lost the week before bama had, Oregon would be going to the title game. It's not no fukkin SEC bias, its "the team that lost more recently" bias, which is stupid but gets applied to every conference.


LOL at people saying the SEC is overrated. Compared to whom? The SEC has 3 11-1 teams and 3 10-2 teams. The PAC 12/Big 10/ACC/Big 12 put together have 7 one/two loss teams, and OSU is on probation so they don't really count.

Now it's all excuses...

A&M would've lost about 4 games in the Big 12 this year...

If anything, it definitely shows that a good part of the dominance shown by SEC teams can be attributed to shytty offenses. Sometimes I watch SEC games, and straight at the cowardice shown in offensive playcalling at times.

The SEC hardly plays against real good Offenses which is why it only took A&M 1 yr to come through & crush the buildings. A&M is 7 points away from being undefeated its first season in a "superior" Conference...
