Everybody's conference is inferior because the SEC has the last 6 titles. It's really that simple.
Even if you want to clown on the BCS, is there really any debate that all those SEC winners (2006 Florida, 2007 LSU, 2008 Florida, 2009 Alabama, 2010 Auburn, 2011 Alabama, 2012 Possibly Alabama) were the best teams in the nation?
Florida 2006. People thought OSU, USC, and possibly Michigan were better. Well, Florida straight clowned OSU and USC lost to UCLA at the end, before clowning on Michigan.
2007 LSU. I don't think there's really much to say here. Even though LSU was a 2 loss squad, they beat OSU. Are there people out there that think VaTech or OU could have contended?
2008 Florida. Well, they pretty much ran away with it after the Tebow speech. No discussion needed
2009 Alabama. This season was literally Florida vs. Alabama for the NC game. Alabama steamrolled Florida in the SEC CG and then proceeded to manhandle Texas for the entire 1st half, even knocking McCoy out of the game. It wasn't until the BACKUP QB for Texas came in that the game was even competitive...
2010 Auburn. Cam Newton rapes your soul. No doubt Oregon was the 2nd best team in the country, and they put up a hell of a fight. This was the closest year there was to the SEC falling off. Didn't happen, and SEC won their 5th straight
2011 Alabama. This NC game featured TWO SEC teams!! The only other team that could possibly have been in the discussion is Oklahoma State. The same Oklahoma State that lost to Iowa State. To their credit, they came back and beat no. 4 Stanford in OT in the Fiesta. But do people honestly think that Oklahoma State or Stanford could have/would have competed with EITHER SEC team in the NCG? LSU went undefeated, and Alabama only had 1 loss, to LSU, which they avenged. Can't be mad at the NCG being a rematch in this scenario.
So that, for all you uneducated football fans, a.k.a. SEC haters, is a nice history lesson of how the SEC has dominated the college football landscape for over the past half-decade. It really isn't even in doubt as to which conference is the best in the country. And if Alabama beats ND like they should, then all you morons will probably find another dead horse to beat until January 2014 rolls around and the SEC, once again, shyts on Insert Inferior Non-conference Team Here.
