Let's admit the cold hard truth about kobe - media ruined Kobe's legit top 3-4 status

Who is this genital consensus you're talking about? You are a stupid insecure Jew and whenever you hear anyone anywhere say something you don't like about Kobe or LeBron, you convince yourself that the world is against you. That it's some massive media conspiracy to hold you and Kobe down.

"Some guy on twitter from Vermont made fun of Kobe for going 6-24! But some guy on twitter from Texas said LeBron played amazing even though he shot 40%! There is no consistency! Everyone is against Kobe!"

Go fukk yourself.

CANT KEEP YOUR MIND OFF GENITALS??

YOU GET MORE DESPERATE WIT EACH POST.

DO U REALLY THINK KOBE WOULD GET CELEBRATED BY THE MEDIA IF HE SHOT 39% IN A FINALS LOSS THE WAY LEBRON WAS?

YES OR NO.

If he averaged 36-13-8 for a series, of course. But we will never know for sure because he wasn't capable of such a performance.

A lot of you are delusional and letting your personal bias show....

All the best players in the league right now talk about Kobe's influence and till this day he is still helping many of them either by working out with them, helping them with tape, or providing encouraging words.

Skew the numbers and titles any which way you want but the impact on the game puts him that high regardless.

For anybody saying "well nash team had more wins"

Yeah so did hardens and kawhis.

But when a man puts up numbers, u give him the award, like they did westbrook.

No kobe didnt put up a triple double, but he went on a scoring tear and capped it off with an 81 point performance.

He was robbed of at least 2 MVPs

What a fukking privelage it is to have your bigs give you rebounds.

Privelage to have so many 3 point specialists surrounding you in the Finals

YUP .. KOBE WAS THE REAL FIRST OPTION. THERE U GO PROVING MY POINT.. HE HAD THE HIGHEST USAGE RATE ON A TEAM THAT THREEPEATED. BUT SHAQ HAD SENIORITY, THUS IT WAS "HIS TEAM", WHICH IS LARGELY TO BLAME FOR THE ILLUSION THAT HE WAS THE BEST PLAYER WHEN ANYONE WHO SAW THE HARD FOUGHT SERIES' VS THE SPURS, KINGS, AND BLAZERS KNOWS IT WAS KOBE RUNNING THE SHOW .. SHAQ GENERALLY FEASTED ON THE MUCH WEAKER EAST WINNING THE FINALS MVP, HENCE THE FALSE NARRATIVE THAT "KOBE WAS CARRIED" .. SENIORITY
Having a higher usage rate doesn't mean you're a better player you pasty dope

Didn't KD and Westbrook already prove this

Russell didn't just "put up numbers", he averaged a god damn triple double WITH ONLY 5 LESS POINTS THAN KOBE :gucci:

You have essentially just neutered the importance of Kobe's best season by even attempting to compare it to Russell's situation. You have to have HISTORIC levels every night to win in spite of having an inferior record, and that level of history has to transcend just scoring apparently

Edit lmao @ trying to compare an 81 performance to something like a 50 point triple double....Russell's game against the Nuggets to get the record, 50-16-10, with the GW, is MILES above the 81 point performance. Mainly because that actually clinched a MVP season :mjlol:

kobe is a volume shooter
lebron can put up 40 and still make his teammates better
kobe dont teach his teammates nothing lol

That's a lie...why do Bron teammates put up worse #s when they play with him even though he's so unselfish? Bc he's a ballhog who takes 20 shots, dribbles the air out the ball, and collects assists that don't trigger ball movement.

Kobe on the other hand brought the best out of Kwame Brown. Remember when he had Kwame Brown believing he was better than Prime Amare? Remember when Pau Gasol was punked in 08 Finals, and the next season he toughened up. Luke Walton looked like a decent bench player in LA, did nothing outside of LA, I wonder why. How about Sasha Vujacic...looked like the best backup SG in the league. I guess that's what happens when you practice against Kob. Who would feed Andrew Bynum during his 2 good years? Who made Smush Parker look even serviceable as a starting PG? Kobe really made his teammates better by pushing them, feeding them the ball, setting high expectations for them, toughening them up, etc...

Players Bron has marginalized:
Shaq
Jamison
Bosh
Love
Wade
Deron
Hughes

Just to name a few

You all hated Kwame, Vujacic, and Walton. Not to mention that Vujacic and Walton fell out of the rotation while Kobe was still there. And with the guys you mentioned with LeBron, you have to mention guys like Dwight, Nash, Jamison, Artest, Blake, Murphy etc for Kobe. They all played better before they joined Kobe. And Pau looked washed and became an allstar again once he broke free. So fukk all this.

The guys you mentioned had reduced roles...it's not like they played the same role in LA

Context is everything

Lebron is no Magic who sacrificed his total FGA to make his teammates better
