Overall i just wanna caution my fellow Heat fans from drinking too much Kool-Aid on the kid an allow him to grow if he is to become a star. :yeshrug:
THe way i look at it is the 9 teams that passed up on him arent run by idiots. Those teams brought him in for workouts and decided to pass up on him. THere must have been a reason/. We didnt work him out but when he fell to us we had no choice but to roll the dice and jump on it while we could.

As a Heat fan ive been burned many times by rookies that came in with high hopes
Harold Miner, Khalid Reeves, Michael Beasley. List goes on and on. I'll just wait and see.. and pray

Draft a shooting guard who can't shoot or pass or create at 10 and call him a steal :mjlol:
My thoughs exactly :mindblown:
:dahell:

What part of him only being 19 do y'all not understand? His offensive game is coming along. We have multiple scoring wings, so Winslow isn't gonna automatically get the touches needed to put up gaudy offensive numbers. He's basically being relegated to a spot up shooter right now. But even then, he has great floor vision, and has proven he's a pretty solid passer. Do y'all watch any Heat games to be saying what y'all are saying?

Even in Kaminsky's case I think he is starting to come on and show value for the Hornets. They obviously covet a big with range in their offense, as they've been trying to get one in the past few drafts with Zeller and Vonleh. Maybe Frank the Tank will be 3rd times a charm for them. When wet look back I think this will be more a case of "wow that was a loaded draft," than "how did he fall that far in that draft?"
Agreed, I shouldn't have even singled him out tbh. It's just shaping up to be a great draft

Dragic, Wade, Bosh and Whiteside already competing for touches. Then you got Green, TJ and Deng needing shots but nikkas find something wrong with Winslow not dropping 15 ppg on the lowest FGA offense in the league:why:
It's his offense tho. He can't can't create his shot nor can he shoot. Teams will just protect the drive daring him to shoot.

Y'all can keep bring up Leonard and Butler like they're common but there's been a lot more good defenders who never developed offensively than did.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
nikkas mad that Gawdtise is an elite defender as a rookie and only getting better. :umad:

People said Butler and Kawaii wouldn't be good shooters either :umad:

Heat also rock at adding new dimensions top layers games :banderas:

Bosh shooting 40% from three. :banderas:

Winslow gonna be dropping 18-20
A game and locking down the best offensive players in a year or two :umad:

How I picture you saying this

He's actually shown flashes of being a solid passer. He also has a quick 1st step. There's so many wings on this team that need touches. It happens. When his role grows, so will his offensive numbers.

Paul George is averaging damn near 30 on Miami :scust:who is he stopping?

Don't watch games, breh. George needed screen after screen to get away from Winslow and he dropped 32 points while taking 29 baskets.

Paul George already said he has the same naturaK defensive instincts and timing that him and Kawhi do. He's been matched up with numerous superstar wings and he holds them well and makes them make tough shots and he's only a rookie with 30 games in the NBA.

Act like holding a superstar scoring wing to 32 points on 29 attempts despite being an NBA rookie is some kind of knock against Winslow, brehs.

His activity and impact to the defense is huge because he replaces to corpse of Luol Deng...........................................................

Don' watch games, breh.

Winslow is 19 and we have a team that is pretty damn great at developing shooters and expanding their range. If Winslow becomes even a decent shooter, every aspect of his game will improve dramatically. He takes smart shots, he's actually very good at attacking the basket, he's a coast to coast rebound threat, and a willing and unselfish passer.

At worst, Winslow is gonna be one of the best defensive wings in the NBA and a high motor guy that can defend offensive superstars or, if used off the bench, can be put on spark plug players.

But I wouldn't bet on it. Justise's stroke isn't even mechanically broken, its just relatively slow and inconsistent at times. He has great balance and strength when driving to the rim, has no problem finishing through contact plus surprisingly good touch around the rim.

It's not even the scoring but it's overall awareness, poise, and decision making that says he's gonna be an elite glue guy at worse. But I'm betting that in two seasons, that jumper straightens out and he suddenly looks like a blossoming star because all the great parts about his game are gonna become magnified.

Call me a homer but I see the decision making, poise, and the framework of an offensive game that simply needs NBA polish. But that knowledge to see the mismatch in strength, establish position, bully Budinger to make his length meaningless while hitting a soft switch hook off the glass? Finding the cutting Bosh, hitting him in stride, and noticing it before any of the Pacers could react? How smooth and effortless the jumper looks when he's in "college range"? How he drew contact from a trailing PG and then used it to propel himself forward to finish a hard layup through contact?

Even with how he cuts to the rim and knows how to establish good position which will show as he polishes a post game...

I see it. I saw the same traits in Butler, George, and Kawhi even when they weren't shooting well (Kawhi and Butler) or didn't always use their gifts properly (George). He's gonna explode in two seasons as he's quietly groomed by the likes of Wade, Spo, and Riley.
