I understand if someone says Gucci is ass
But to to turn around and say Jeezy was so much better I don’t get
He just had better albums, Jeezy has the exact same weaknesses Gucci has as a rapper only thing I could give him is a better voice and slightly better ad libs

They had fans but I see people on here say Jim Jones changed fashion and shyt. Them nikkas was never on that level.

Jim Jones and Stack Bundles (RIP) did change urban fashion as we know it. There should be a documentary about how the baggy clothes of the late 90s to early 00s died out.

Jeezy tells stories, makes hype music or hustle anthems

Gucci raps about the colors of his necklaces

So Cal
He did though , he’s literally the reason people were wearing True religion , Ed hardy , antiq jeans , bb simon etc but since your from Cali I know their fashion/dress code completely different so that didn’t really affect what was going in Cali so you feeling like that is understandable , but over here Jim def changed the dressed code for baggy to slimmed down , denying that is just hatred/delusion
True religions was popping later but nikka's went from baggy to that white boy shyt like aeropostle. Young nikkas never wore that ed hardy shyt.

Dude is a dub. I refuse to entertain his troll tactics of a poster whose dipped in negative red rep set. But he must be referring to Lil Yachty’s Dipset - if that’s the situation then that’s the only scenario where Gucci is “better than”- he can out rap Lil Yachty. Pure shyt

Whenever I see people saying Gucci vs Jeezy one is better than the other they reasons always have nothing to do with music

Drill is an offshoot of Trap. Same strip club friendly beats. Chief Keef was inspired by Gucci Mane.
Respectfully have to disagree with you - No one is playing real street drill music in a strip club.
:merchant:
Drill is waaaayyy more lyrical than that mumble mouth massacre of trap rap. The only thing that pushed trap is the producers making the same beats. The Drill music sound is actually inspired (production wise) by house music from the 80s-90s. House music had a massive underground following in London, Chicago and New York which stands to being of why CH and NY have been the most adaptable to rapping over drill beats along with UK producers integrating their sound for CH and NY rappers. If you go to a studio and listen to a house music track slowed down and run it with a drill beat; compare the sound, you’ll hear it. it’s distinctive.

Exactly. Name me one Gucci Mane album even close to TM101.....
I can’t even name one Gucci Man album. The only songs that I know ARE the ones he did with Camron and that’s ONLY off the strength of Camron
:deadrose::dead:

And you can tell Camron wrote all the lyrics on this

I got cousins from Georgia, they d ride Tip and think his first Album is a classic:comeon:even till this day:scust:
