Young thug is one of the biggest acts in rap
@Wild self this comment right here is the reason why that sub genre of trap rap and questionable lyrics has contributed to this below - sus rap and bi-beta Bussy banter on tracks; homo slow flow, meggings and goyard faq bags. No thanks, I’ll stay In nyc where Dipset resides. Picture Max B dolng this shyt

So? Gucci is offspring of 8ball and Mjg. Nobody gives a fukk

Future music don't sound like Gucci's outside of some overlap with producers. Fact. You can hear the influence in music from Future & Migos. Nobody emulating prime gucci "stoopid frooty swagg" mushmouth raps. The only lasting influence of Gucci is the infatuation with the crash test dummy lifestyle.

Your favorite rappers legacy is vicarious success through nikkas younger & more talented than him? :mjlol: you proud of that?

What are you even trying to argue right now?:hhh:

Gucci being influential and being a legend in the game is a FACT

Future and Migos came out as Gucci clones. Yea, eventually they put their own spice on it to develop their own flair but even to this day Future and Migos music and trap music in general at its core is based on shyt Gucci was doing in like 2007. I’m not saying that a producer or rapper today is listening to a old Gucci tape and saying “Yeah let’s do something like this” but, a producer or rapper from today that considers their music trap music creates the way they create because of the landscape and sound Gucci n Zaytoven (Wayne too) created. I don’t get your angle, you sound like some grumpy old nikka that’s mad rappers ain’t rappin like KRS 1 and doing the wop no more:mjlol:

You're the one living in the past. Gucci run was a decade ago :umad: miss me with the "ur mad n old" deflections stanley. Young nikkas not listening to Goofy Mane

Yall giving this dude credit for music that dont sound like his

Production style he aint fukk with

Sound he didnt pioneer

Flows that dont flow like his etc

Thats why you in here juelzing paragraphs of fluff about soundscapes and "influence" that doesnt show up in nobody's music because nobody wants to recreate that garbage. :trash:

"B bu but Quavo listened to gucci in middle school" Nobody cares

People call him a legend but lets be real there's no classic albums. Dude made multiple runs at being a mainstream artist and didnt cash in until a Bruno Mars feature. Their perception is made by nostalgia of parties and DVD era street gossip.

Truth is it was a fad. Just like Dipset and rocking pink.

10 years from now brehs gonna be trying to put their kids on and make those poor children sit through shyt like this

And while you :banderas: reminiscing about the pretty bytch from 20 years standing by the bar wishing then DJ would play a different song, your poor child gonna be like

:mjtf: "what kinda drugs were yall on back then"

ppl said the same shyt about their kids 10yrs ago...

10 yrs later..

No Waka no chief keef
no chief keef, no etc....

What did Gucci contribute to Chief Keef career? Serious question

Keef was a fan. When he was blowing up Gucci was making mixtapes with culture vultures :mjlol:

Chief Keef song from his debut album. Doesn't show up to the video shoot :mjlol:

Gucci song from a mixtape. Chief is in the video & doesn't spit trash/lazy bars like he was doing back then. Guwop made him step his game up anytime he was around

Gucci drops these in 2008

12 years later who does a remake with damn near the same flow

Dudes from New York clowning Gucci for a 5 year run in the South, which is ironic because the last dude that made a run in New York was 50 Cent. And that run was from 2002 to 2007.

Y'all gonna fukk around and get high blood pressure being salty about the a whole region :mjlol:

I commend you for actually trying, you got a point on Keef not rapping in that slur cadence on the gucci on the track.

But yeah, outside of Keef growing up a fan of gucci that man didnt have any impact on Sosa career :yeshrug:
