Gucci aint even sign em, they was already down with QC.

P and Coach K just brought em around Gucci for the look and the cosign.

Gucci aint discover them nikkas.

False

They didn’t bring them around Wop. Wop and Zay saw em on Youtube

Quavo said Gucci hit up his "manager". They were already managed by QC by then. P and Gucci go back in the streets and shyt.

Thats how they was all able to link in the first place.

Fun fact too. QC are actually in the studio with Vlad. VLAD talks about it all the time. He aint even want to interview the Migos back then it was before Versace took off but QC and em convinced him to do it.

I noticed a lot of Cali nikkas on here undermine dipset popularity/influence in urban culture during the mid 2000s , I can see them not being big over there though since most of Dipset popularity was built through mixtapes so it prolly ain’t hit over there real time like how it did in NY/East Coast even the south to an extent

"just the dipset of the south" like that's supposed to be an insult, dipset has countless classic projects from albums to mixtapes, had a huge movement and inspired several people

im not even a gucci fan like that and I know most of the lit atlanta nikkas all directly or indirectly came under his tutelage at one point, even nicki had to come fukk with gucci to get hot and french had to come piggyback off of him once max got locked

Man, woman, and child
as a jeezy fan from atlanta ,, i always thought the gucci heads were the slow ones out here - hustlin backwards as a lifestyle

jeey made hustle music
gucci and gang made fiend crackhead "lets go rob the plug" music
You ain’t lying breh. Both of them had huge followings here but it seemed like the folks who leaned more toward Gucci were straight knuckleheads. Like i don’t even know where some of them nikkas are. But all of us who leaned toward Jeezy all have well paying jobs now
:heh:
